March Stamping Technique Class - Faux Metal

It just occurred to me that I never shared the cards that we made at our March Technique Class, guess the weather was too nice or I went on vacation and am just trying to catch up now!
The March technique was faux metal, its a really neat technique and so easy, the ladies really liked it.  The cards were also masculine cards, not a single butterfly or flower was made!  The Faux Metal technique is actually just heavy duty tin foil.  For both of our Faux Metal cards we took a piece of cardstock, adherred a slightly larger piece of tin foil to it, wrapping the edges around the back side of the cardstock. Then we ran it through our Big Shot, for our cards we used the Stampin' Up! Diamond Texture Plate, it created a beautiful diamond plate.
For March, our Fancy Fold card was the Flip Flop card.  If you like to measure, score and cut then this card had it all!  Until I got the hang of it I was quite frustrated but now its a piece of cake and it makes such a fun card that it was worth all of the frustrations.  When you pull each of the sides to open the card, you get the inside which "flip flops" so that the backside of the cardstock ends up being the inside of your card.  Makes sense right, trust me!  LOL!!

And here is a photo of how the inside or backside of our card looked.

There was another card and I must not have taken a picture of it, it was my favorite so I am wondering what I was thinking.  Note to self, work on that!!

Thanks for stopping and have a great day,
Cindy
