June Kit Class Cards

This past Tuesday was our monthly Kit Class; I always look forward to this class, a great bunch of ladies get together to stamp and visit!!  We have fun, the cards always are a hit and I am always so impressed at how well everyone get along.  If you live in the Neillsville area and would like to try stamping with us, you are more than welcome.  The cards are easy to figure out, I try to keep it simple and you decide how many cards that you want to come. If you are not in the Neillsville area, the cards are available by mail and will come to you with everything you need to make the beautiful cards.  The cards are not stamped (per Stampin' Up! policy) but you can order the stamp sets from me or substitute similar stamps of your choice.  Just email me for more details.

Card #1 - Lovely Inside & Out!

A fun tip to make this card so much easier, adhere a strip of Adhesive Sheet to the black piece of cardstock before you run the "Lovely"through the Big Shot using the Lovely Words Thinlet.  After you are done, it is a breeze to adhere the word to the card.

Stamp Sets:  Lovely Inside & Out
Ink:  Black, Sweet Sugarplum
Paper:  Berry Burst Base, Whisper White Layer, Black scraps, Sweet Sugarplum scrap
Accessories:  Adhesive Sheets, Heart Framelit, Lovely Words Thinlets, Dimensions

Card #2 - Hello Baby

A person always needs a few baby cards on hand, this cute card was so easy to make.  A helpful hint on this one is that there is only Designer Series Paper (DSP) on the outside edges (not in the middle) a great way to use DSP scraps and not a whole sheet that will be covered up anyway!

Stamp Sets:  Moon Baby
Ink:  Black
Markers or Watercolor Pencils:  Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, So Saffron, Bermuda Bay
Paper:  Soft Sky or Powder Pink or So Saffron Card Base, Whisper White Layer, 2 strips of DSP, Soft Sky Layer for Whisper White piece
Accessories:  Dimensions, Aqua Painter, Metallic Enamel Shapes

Card #3 - With Sympathy

Using the Eastern Palace stamp set and coordinating Designer Series Paper, Eastern Palace Thinlits and Eastern Gold Stickers made this card pop!

Stamp Sets:  Eastern Beauty, Better Together (Inside), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Tranquil Tide, Fresh Fig
Paper:  Very Vanilla Base, Tranquil Tide Layer, Eastern Palace DSP
Accessories:  Eastern Palace Gold Stickers, Eastern Palace Thinlits

Card #4 - Happy Anniversary

What an easy card to make and would be suitable for a Happy Retirement or Happy Birthday card!

Stamp Sets:  Beautiful Bouquet, Wild About Flowers
Ink:  Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist
Paper:  Berry Burst Base, Whisper White Layer, Lemon Lime 2 x 5 1/4
Accessories:  Glitter Enamel Dots, Dimensions, Bouquet Bunch Framlits, Berry Burst Ribbon, Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder

Card #5 - Good Friend
Sometimes the most simple card can say so much, this card was just beautiful in person!

A helpful hint for this card; by using Memento Black ink you can stamp directly on the Wood Textures DSP and have good results.

Stamp Set:  Lovely Friends
Ink:  Memento Black, Cherry Cobbler
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler Base, Black Layer, Wood Textures DSP
