December Stamp of the Month - Just Add Text

Our Stamp of the Month for December was a great stamp set that we will be able to use all year round. The sayings of these stamp sets are so nice and sweet that the different cards and occasions that you can use these stamps are wonderful. Card #1 - Life is Better with Friends Thank You Card

 This card I made into a Thank You card and just love how it turned out.  I used the new Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder that will be coming out in the new Occasions Catalog.

Ink:  Memento Black, Tango Tangerine, Marina Mist, Pool Party
Paper:  Crumb Cake Base, Marina Mist Layer, Whisper White 2 1/2 x 3 3/4, Black Layer 2 3/4 x 4, White Stitched Circle, Marina Mist Layering Scallop Circle
Accessories:  Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder, Black Shimmer Ribbon, Dimensions, Stitched Circle, Layering Circle Framelits

Card #2 - You are So Beautiful to Me - Birthday Card

 I really like using stamps that are verses as the Sentiment of the card, it is just a different way to showcase your card and stamps. I also like how the Painted Autumn DSP peeking out from the Detailed Floral Thinlit is what gives this card the "wow" affect.

Card #3 - I Feel That There is Nothing More Truly Artistic - Thinking of You Card

 I love, love, love how this card came together. I decided that I wanted to use the In Color Berry Burst as my base and because and use reinkers to create some strips on the Whisper White cardstock. I was referring to the "artistic" part of the saying.

Card #4 - I Appreciate Everything You Do - Thank You Card

This type of Thank You card is going to come in very handy!!  How many times has someone done something for you, this card is just the perfect Thank You!

Paper:  Lemon Lime Twist Base, Night of Navy Layer, Naturally Ecelectic DSP

What to do?! What to do?!

What do you do with leftover Designer Series Paper?  That is always a question that I am asking myself and it seems that I have come up with the perfect answer!!  It was so easy also!  Just make some cards!!

I had some leftover Quilted Christmas paper and made these quick Christmas cards.  I thought for sure that I had made enough Christmas cards this year but I found out that I was wrong!  So here are a few quick Christmas cards that I made using the Quilted Christmas paper.

 I love how all of these turned out, I also used the Quilted Embossing Folder and the Merry Christmas from the Snowflake Sentiments.

 Aren't they great?!!  All of these items will be retiring on January 3rd when the Occasions and Sale a Bration catalogs start. If you are interested in any of these products, contact me right away!!

I also used the Year of Cheer Designer Paper to make this quick Christmas card:

And lastly, did you happen to notice the Pizza Boxes that Stampin' Up! had on page 38.  These little boxes will hold four fun size candies.  And you know it isn't just for Christmas, I enjoy receiving chocolate any time of the year!  Just saying!!
