January Technique Class - Brusho Ink Crystals

Watercolor Ink Crystals are easy and fun to use, just mix with water to make watercolor washes and designs. The rich and bright color pigment will make your cards pop!  Sprinkle directly on watercolor paper and watch the colors burst!  Or you can sprinkle the crystals on paper and spritz water for a different look. Mix colors for additional colors or one of a kind designs. The possibilities are endless!

For our first card we sprinkled some yellow Brusho crystals on Natural White paper and then used our Aqua Painter to move the color around.

Card #1 - Happy Day

Stamp Sets:  Happy Wishes (SAB)
Ink:  Memento Black, Brusho Ink Crystals Yellow
Paper:  Pacific Point Base, Daffodil Delight Layer, Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (DSP), Black 2 1/4 x 3 3/4, Natural White
Accessories:  Glitter Dot, Dollie half, Dimensions

For our second card, we sprinkled more than one color of Brusho Ink Crystals. In this card it was the Blue, Yellow, Red and Orange. Then use our Spritzer to spritz some water on the ink crystals to make them ignite and pop!

Card #2 - Here for You

Stamp Sets:  You've Got This, Playful Background
Ink:  Island Indigo, Soft Sky
Paper:  Island Indigo Base, Soft Sky Layer, Shimmery White 2x5
Accessories:  Petal Pair Embossing Folder, White/Silver Twine

Special Project Card card used the new Barn Door stamp set with the coordinating Sliding Door Framelits that are in the Occasions Mini Catalog. We had a good time with it and our cards turned out great!

Card #3 - Hello!

 What makes this set so much fun is the interactive door that actually moves and you are able two stamp to greetings.

Weekly Wednesday Wow!! - Amazing You Card Project

Welcome to my new blog feature, My Weekly Wednesday Wow!!  I am part of a swap group and I want to share with you some wonderful cards and the best part is that the directions are included!!  So sit back and enjoy!  I hope that these cards inspire you and you will want to start stamping or continue stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Amazing You Stamp Set (1472125 clear, 147212 wood),
• PAPER – Early Espresso Cardstock (119686), Blushing Bride Cardstock131198), Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
• INK – Early Espresso (126974), VersaMark (102283)
• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Heat Tool (129053), Clear Block Bundle (118491) Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (146840), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Fast Fuse (129026), Gold Embossing Powder (109129), Copper Trim (144179), Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (144106), Embossing Buddy (103083)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Early Espresso Cardstock 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
• Scrap Piece of Early Espresso for die cut word
• Blushing Bride Cardstock 5-1/4” x 4”
• 2-Whisper White Cardstock 5” x 3-3/4”

Instructions:

• Fold Early Espresso card base.
• Adhere Blushing Bride Cardstock to Early Espresso card base.
• Adhere 1 Whisper White Cardstock to the inside of the card.
• Rub Embossing Buddy on the surface of the 2^nd Whisper White Cardstock. Stamp flower image five times in VersaMark ink. Cover with Gold Emboss Powder. Heat & Set with Heat Tool until shiny.
• Attach a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet to backside of scrap Early Espresso Cardstock. Run the word “amazing” from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies through Big Shot. Remove backing and place midway on card as shown in image.
• Stamp “you” sentiment between the z & g in EarlyEspresso Ink.
• Flip embossed Whisper White over and put 2 small strips of Fast Fuse at the to and bottom of cardstock. Attach both ends of the Copper Trim to the adhesive strips and wrap around card.
• Tie a bow on the Copper Trim roll and cut.
• Place bow to the to of the band of Copper Trim with a Glue Dot.
• Stamp sun rays image inside bottom right of card.
• Enjoy!

December Kit Class Cards

We just had our December Kit Class and I am so happy to share them with you!!  Due to the holidays, we had to postpone our December class from December 26 to January 2nd.
