May Stamping Technique - Black Ice

The technique for May was Black Ice, what a fun technique!! A very unique technique, that you will want to make over and over again.

Using Silver Foil, drag Basic Black ink across the Foil creating black streaks. Stamp Image in Basic Black, dry with Heat Gun. Lightly drag Versamark Ink across card, apply Clear Embossing Powder, Heat.

Card #1 - Prayers

Stamp Sets -  Butterfly Basics, Thoughts & Prayers
Ink  Archival Basic Black, Versamark, Elegant Eggplant
Paper:  Wisteria Wonder Base, Elegant Eggplant Layer, Silver Foil, Black Layer
Accessories:  White Organza Ribbon Dimensionals, Clear Embossing Folder

Card #2 - Thinking of You

Stamp Sets:  Birthday Blossoms, Basket of Wishes, Heartfelt Sympathy
Ink: Archival Basic Black, Versamark
Paper:  Dapper Denim Base, Sweet Sugarplum Layer, Silver Foil, Whisper White, Black Layer
Accessories:  Petite Pair Embossing Folder, Dimensionals

Card #3 - Fancy Fold, Steeple Card

Stamp Sets:  Big on Birthday

Ink:  Black, Peekaboo Peach, Tangerine Tango

Paper: Calypso Coral Base Whisper White,  Petal Passion DSP, Black Layers

Accessories:  Clear Enamel Jewel, Markers

Wednesday Wow - Best Mom Ever!

Best Mom Ever Apron

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Apron of Love (145835, photopolymer),
• PAPER – Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (145589), Thick Whisper White (140272), Real Red (102482), Whisper White (100730), Basic Black (121045), Silver Foil Sheets (132178)
• INK – Real Red (126949), Momento Tuxedo Black (132708)
• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Apron Builder Framelits Dies (145661), Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder (143709), Pearl Basic Jewels (144219), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Thick Whisper White 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
• Real Red 3-3/4” x 5”, scraps
• Whisper White 3-5/8” x 4-7/8”, scraps
• Petal Passion Designer Series Paper (DSP) 2-1/4” x 3-1/2”
• Basic Black scraps

• Silver Foil Sheets scraps

Instructions:

• Using the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder, emboss the Whisper White layer and adhere to the Real Red layer and adhere this to the Thick Whisper White card base.
• Die cut the apron from the DSP, the flowers, tie strings and neck loop from Basic Black scraps, the scalloped pocket from Real Red scraps, the bow and utensils from Silver Foil Sheets scraps and the plain pocket from Whisper White scraps.
• Build the apron by adding the tie strings, neck loop and bow using Mini Glue Dots and adhere to the card on a slight angle.
• Attach the utensils to the back of the Real Red pocket and adhere to the front of the apron.
• Stamp the Best Ever stamp using Momento Tuxedo Black ink and the Mom with Real Red ink on the Whisper White pocket and adhere to the Real Red pocket.
• Adhere the three Basic Black flowers to the corner of the Whisper White embossed layer.
• Add Pearl Basic Jewels to the center of each of the flowers.
• Enjoy!
