August Stamp of the Month - Accented Blooms

The Stamp of the Month for the month of August is Accented Blooms. To say that I just love this set is beside the point, it really is a great set and has so many options. This is what the stamp set looks like, remember that this offer is available every month and anyone can participate. Card #1 - Hello Standout

I like that the Tailored Tag Punch works with this stamp set, just makes everything so much easier. Use a Dimension to "pop" up the "Hello" and watch how your card pops!!

Card #2 - Flirty Flamingo Thank You

I just love how this card turned out, I think that the biggest reason is that I used our Stampin' Blends to color the flowers. I am not big on coloring but the blends make it easy and makes it look like I am an actual artist!!

Card #3 - Merry Merlot Hello

And then there are times when you don't have to color in order to make a great card!! I also used the new Neutral Core Color Merry Merlot in this card, I just love that color!!

Card #4 - Embossed Thank You

You might think that this card looks very plain, BUT in person it looks "Spectacular"!! It is because the camera does not pick up the embossed look. I embossed this card with white embossing powder and then colored the flowers with Wink of Stella. The card is very pretty.

Wednesday Wow - Well Wishes

PAPER – Basic Black (121045), Whisper White (100730)
INK – Craft Stampin’ Pad & Refill (147277)66)
OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Layering Circle Framelits (141705), 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon Whisper White (146912), Pearl Basic Jewels (144219), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Clear Block D (118485)

Cutting & Scoring:

Basic Black 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”
Whisper White 5-1/4” x 4” (2 pieces)
Basic Black 5” x 3-3/4”
Scrap piece of Basic Black and Whisper White

Instructions:

Use Craft Stampin’ Pad to stamp large Dandelion on bottom left corner of 5” x 3-3/4” Basic Black cardstock.
Stamp sentiment onto piece of scrap Basic Black cardstock.
Die cut sentiment from Basic Black cardstock using Layering Circles scalloped die of your size choosing.
Cut larger scalloped circle using Layering Circles Die from Whisper White scrap.
Using the largest Pearl Basic Jewels, attach one to the center of the die cut quilt.
Adhere Basic Black sentiment diecut to Whisper White diecut using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Tie bow using 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon Whisper White around top of 5” x 3-3/4” Basic Black Cardstock.
Adhere layered circles to 5” x 3-3/4” Basic Black Cardstock over ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere 5” x 3-3/4” Basic Black Cardstock to 5-1/4” x 4” piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
Fold 5-1/2” x 4-/4” Basic Black Cardstock on score line to form base.
Adhere 5-1/4” x 4” Whisper White with layers to card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside of card base, adhere 5-1/4” x 4” plain Whisper White Cardstock.

August Kit Class Cards

This last week was our monthly Kit Class, I have some great cards to share with you. Did you know that the Kit Class gives you the option of making 5 cards, 10 cards or 15 cards. What I do is design 5 cards and you decide how many times you want to make the cards. The cards are simple layouts without the hassle of different techniques or anything real fancy.
