January Stamping Technique - Acrylic Block Background

Create a fun and easy background using your acrylic blocks!

It's so easy, here are the instructions:
Step 1: Ink an acrylic block with a light colored ink by pressing the ink pad directly onto the block.
Step 2:  Mist the block lightly with water.
Hint:  The more water you add, the softer, and less vibrant the colors will be.
Step 3:  Press the ink acrylic block firmly onto the cardstock. Hold the block in place for a few seconds so that you remove the air bubbles.
Step 4:  Stamp small images on the background , Finish the card.

Cardstock:  Bashful Blue 5 ½ x 8 ½, Marina Mist mat 4 x 5 ¼, Whisper White 3 ¾ x 5 & 3 ½ x 4 1/4
Ink:  Bashful Blue, Always Artichoke, Basic Grey
Accessories:  Misting Bottle, Dimensions, Dazzling Details, Brayer for Big Block

Hint:  Apply Dazzling Details after assembly, it will take alittle bit for it to dry.  Stamp off the snowflakes so that they are lighter.

Here is the fancy fold card we made, its called Twisted Gift Card Holder. This was a challenge but after several tries, I am happy to say, I GOT IT!!

Hint:  Stamp the Heart design first then run through The Big Shot.
