July Stamping Technique Class - Watercoloring

This is a wonderful and easy way to make your cards look like an artist had painted the image!!

Stamp your image using Memento Ink or Stazon Ink, then use an Aqua Painter to apply color to your image using re-inkers.

Our first card is pretty special to me, not is it my own design BUT I had submitted this card to a card contest that my upline, Kelly Acheson, had in July and I WON!!!  I was so excited, pleased and I just couldn't wait to tell my class all about it!!

Card 1 – Thinking of You – You’ve Got This
Stamp Sets:  You’ve Got This, Petite petals

Our second card is just so dang cute, I just love the saying!!

I CASED this cute little wedding bag from my upline, Kelly Acheson; I just love how it is a card on the front that fits through a slot on the bag.  You can put a small gift inside the bag but I am planning to put together some Thank You cards and a Gift Card inside the bag for a wedding that I will be attending in August.

Fancy Project – Mr & Mrs Wedding Gift Bag

Super Easy Gift Bag

Ever get ready to give a gift and realized that you had no gift paper or gift bags?  Well this has happened to me and have you noticed how expensive gift paper & bags are?  Well have no fear, I have come up with a solution and you are going to LOVE how easy it is!!!

 Supplies that you will need:
*2 sheets Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, 12"x12"
*Half sheet coordinating Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper
*Adhesive (I used Tomboy glue)
*Punch to create holes for the straps
*Bow Builder Punch from Stampin' Up!
*Stampin' Up! Bohemian Borders Stamp Set
*Stampin' Up! Big on You Stamp Set

Take your 12x12 DS paper and score at the 1 inch mark on the "long" edge on "both" sides.  Apply adhesive to the inside of each edge of the scored section and attach the two sheets together.  Your bag will look like a box without a bottom at this point.

Measure and cut a 3" strip that is 12" long.  Score this piece at 1" and 2" and crease pieces.   Using your adhesive, adhere the outside edges to the bottom of the box on both sides.  Then cut and create the ends so that it will line up and fit the bottom corners.  Pretend that you are wrapping a present is the best way for me to explain it.

I used the half sheet of DS Paper to decorate my bag by placing stripes of paper at the top and for the straps of the bag, added a tag and used my Bow Builder Punch to create a cute bow that holds my tag.

This turned out so nice and it holds a 10x10 sized gift!  If you have any questions, please feel free to leave me a comment.

As always, take care and
Happy Stamping!!
