Faux Metal Technique - Facebook Live Replay

I never thought I would be having this much fun with Our Blast from the Past Technique on Facebook Live!  I realize that not everyone is on Facebook and that is fine, you can still get to watch the video right here!!  Consider this!  Just subscribe to my Blog and all of my posts will be delivered right to your Email Mailbox.  You can also "Subscribe" to my You Tube channel, just look for the "Subscribe" button!

Here is the link to last nights Facebook Live, featuring the Faux Metal Technique

The Faux Metal Technique that we did back in March, 2012 tag reads this:  This background creates a silver textured background and uses heavy duty kitchen foil. Using a Texturz plate, run your foil through the Big Shot.

Add adhesive to your cardstock first and then secure the foil to the cardstock, not the other way around. Otherwise you will get the imprint from your tape runner.

Now I realize that we no longer have the Texturz plate through Stampin' Up! but the regular Embossing Folders will work. I did not use the 3D type folders, just the regular ones. If you do not like the "shinny" look, turn the foil around and use the "dull" side for a different look.

Here is an up close look at the card that we made last night, along with the details.
Stamp Sets:  First Frost (Holiday Catalog page 37)
Ink:  Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay
Paper:  Bermuda Bay Base, Black berry Bliss Layer, Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper (DSP), Crumb Cake 2x5, White & Coastal Cabana Scraps
Accessories: Kitchen Foil 5 x 5 1/2, Frosted Bouquet Framelits, Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder (Holiday Catalog page 5), Frosted Epoxy Droplets

Thank you for dropping in today and watching my Blast from the Past Technique Video, I appreciate each and every one of you!!

Happy Stamping!
Cindy
