Valentines!!

During the cold snap, I was very busy in my stamping studio making cards.  From the Butterfly Sampler to some lovely Valentines for my family.  I am just so happy with the way that they turned out.

Wednesday Wow! - Country Boots

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
  • STAMPS – Perennial Birthday (145760), Country Livin’ (141925), Hardwood (133035)
  • PAPER – Very Vanilla (101650), Crumb Cake (120953), Night of Navy (100867)
  • INK – Crumb Cake (147116)
  • OTHER – Banner Triple Punch (138292), Linen Thread (104199), Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (144108), Stampin’ Trimmer (126889), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Paper Snips (103579)
Cutting & Scoring:
  • Very Vanilla – 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score and fold at 4 1/4”
  • Crumb Cake – 5 3/8” x 4 1/4”
  • Very Vanilla – 2 1/4” x 3 1/4”
  • Smoky Slate 2 x 6
  • Night of Navy 1 1/2" x 5
Instructions:
  • Stamp the Hardwood background stamp onto the Crumb Cake with Crumb Cake Ink
  • Add to the Very Vanilla Card Base
  • Stamp the boots with Crumb Cake from the Country Livin on the smaller Very Vanilla Piece
  • Wrap Linen Thread to the bottom of the Very Vanilla piece of Cardstock three times, tie knot in front
  • Punch Smoky Slate Cardstock with Banner Triple Punch
  • Punch Night of Navy cardstock with Banner Triple Punch
  • Add Smoky Slate Banner to Stamped Crumb Cake.
  • Add Night of Navy banner to Stamped Crumb Cake
  • Pop dot the stamped piece of Very Vanilla on top of the Smoky Slate and Night of Navy Banners
  • Enjoy!

Butterfly Sampler

Even though the Butterfly Duet Punch is on backorder (it will be in the next Annual Catalog), I already had this sampler started.  It turned out so pretty that I couldn't wait to share it with you.

I have made one or two samplers before but this was the first time that I made one using butterflies!! Not only did I use the wooden Butterfly Elements which are FREE during the Sale a  Bration sale but I also used the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper which is also FREE during Sale a Bration!!  Everything is mounted on a 12x12 piece of cardboard. If you save the Designer Series Paper cardboard that your paper comes in, then you have the perfect piece and it's already white!

I added some ribbon and then built the rest of the sampler around the Butter Gala Stamp set which can be located on page 35 of the Occasions catalog.  There really is no right or wrong way to create this beautiful sampler. I bet you can think of someone special that you could make this for.
