My Stamper Spotlight - Deb Vine!!

Hello Everyone, I am starting a new series of posts, I am calling it my Stamper Spotlight. It is where I will feature a stamper who has shared their cards or photos of their cards with me. I am always in awe of the ladies that attend my classes when they share their cards with me. It warms my heart to see the creations that they have made at home.

Retiring Stamping Items Coming to You Soon!!

Stampin' Up! will soon release the Retirement List for the Annual and Occasions Catalog.  I don't know what all will be on that list but I do know that the above In Colors will be retiring. When that announcement is made, you can bet that the 2017-19 In Color Cardstock, Ink Pads and Reinkers will sell out very very fast! After all it is while supplies last and many items go very fast.

Last night I did a Facebook Live about just those things and then we made a card. Sit back and enjoy the video, I hope that you will be inspired to stamp and create.

• OTHER –Big Shot (143263), Snail Adhesive (104332), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin Dimensionals (104430), Paper Snips (103579), 3/8-inch Classic Weave Ribbon Whisper White (144159), Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (149698)
• Cutting & Scoring:

Gray Granite 8.5” X 5.5 “, scored at 4.25”

Blackberry Bliss 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”

Whisper White 4 3/8” x 5 3/8 “(inside layer)

Instructions:

• Stamp the large flower image from Painted Seasons on a scrap of Whisper White and on the inside Whisper White layer with Blackberry Bliss ink.
• Stamp the flower again onto a post it note to create a mask and fussy cut the image. Mask the flower on the scrap and then stamp the leaves image close to the edge of the flower, repeat with the image on the inside layer.
• Using Big Shot and the Rectangle Stitched Framelit dies cut the scrap of Whisper White with the image in the lower right-hand corner using the third smallest die.
• Using the next larger Stitched Rectangle and the same third smallest rectangle die, tape or using a magnetic plate, to form a frame border and cut out of a scrap of Blackberry Bliss.
• Emboss the piece of 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” Blackberry Bliss with the Country Floral embossing folder.
• Adhere the White ribbon to the left side of the embossed Blackberry Bliss layer on the back securing both ends.
• Stamp the Thank You in Momento Tuxedo Black ink to the white inside rectangle, apply dimensionals to the corners adhering the outer rectangle frame in the adhesive, you can reinforce with regular packaging tape beforehand if necessary.
• Attach the framed piece to the front of the embossed layer overlapping the ribbon on the left. Attach this panel to the front of the Gray Granite cardbase.
• Attach a small piece of the ribbon above the rectangle framed panel in a knot.
• Adhere the inside layer to the Gray Granite card base.

Let It Ride - Tuesday Tip Highlight

It was Tuesday Tip day last Tuesday, then I get real busy helping the husband and his maple sap into maple syrup hobby!  So I might be posting my Tuesday Tips a little late.

The stamping tip that I bring you this week is  how to run your framelits through your Big Shot so that you do not hear the clunking and possibly break a roller on your Big Shot. Sit back and watch my video, it explains it all!  Then we got busy and made this beautiful Tri-Fold card using the Let It Ride stamp set.
