Strolling Down Memory Lane With Floral Phrases

The stamp set Floral Phrases was a very popular stamp set that also made into the Stamp of the Month. The set was perfect for Weddings and Thank You cards.

 What a pretty Thanks card that this made by using half a doily to add a little texture to our card.

 A pretty Wedding card was this card, along with the coordinating Designer Series Paper.

 Wasn't this striking?!  I stamped the card in versamark and then colored it with markers.

Strolling Down Memory Lane With Pretty Kitty

The stamp set Pretty Kitty is another one that we must say good by to, it was a fun set. I always think that this was one of those sets that got us back into coloring again.

• PAPER – Whisper White Cardstock (100730)
• Granny Apple Green (147095)

• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Smoky Slate Maker (147158), Melon Mambo Marker (147157), Stampin’ Blends Light Old Olive ( 144574), Stampin’ Blends Lovely Lipstick Light ( 147026), Stampin’ Blends Cherry Cobbler Light (144576)

• Cutting

• Whisper White 8 ½” x 5 ½”, fold at 4 ¼”

Instructions:

• Cut Whisper White at 8 ½” x 5 ½”, fold at 4 ¼”. This is your cardbase.
• Stamp on Whisper White -the Largest Roses stamp and the smallest rose with leaf in Black Memento Ink.
• Using the Smokey Slate Marker color the stamp -I thought of today”.
• Using the Melon Mambo Marker color the word -you.
• Using the coordinating thinlets, diecut the Largest rose, rose with the leaf, and the sentiment –I thought of you today, and the leaf with the coordinating diecut in Granny Apple Green.
• Color the roses with Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends.
• Outline the roses with Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends.
• Color the leaves with Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.
• Attach the Whisper White trellis to the card front with glue.
• Attach the largest rose with glue.
• Attach the sentiment with Dimensionsals.
• Attach the rose with leaf on top of the Sentiment with a Dimensional.
• Attach the Leaf on top of the Sentiment with a Dimensional.

My Featured Spotlight Stamper - Janet Forton!!

My Spotlight Stamper today is Janet Forton, Jan shared with me some beautiful birthday cards that she recently made and I couldn't resist sharing them with all of you.

Jan used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and the coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits. I love the colors, this is such a versatile stamp set. You can find it on page 161 of the Annual Catalog.

 The card below could also work very well for a Retirement card, don't you think?!
