Spotlight Stamper Today is Judy Vine

My Spotlight Stamper today is Judy Vine, Judy emailed me these pictures this past week to share what she has been doing. She said that she was bored with the rainy weather and started creating.  I think that she did a lovely job and I thank you for sharing with me.

 It looks like Judy is really loving the Butterfly Punch and the Botanical Butterfly Designer Papers. It really makes for a beautiful card, don't you think?

Remembering One Wild Ride

As I look through some of the retiring stamp sets, I wanted to point out one very important thing.  You can also look at different cards that I have posted, you can search for any particular stamp set by just entering the name of the stamp set in the "Search This Blog". It is located on the right hand side, about half way down. Pretty neat feature.

Today's look back is the stamp set, One Wild Ride, did you know that this stamp set was designed by Dawn Griffith, a Million Sales Achiever for Stampin' Up!

We used this stamp set in a couple of techniques and a stamp of the month card; it makes a great manly card.

Cutting & Scoring:

• Gorgeous Grape 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 1-1/4” & 4-1/4”, Scrap
• Highland Heather Scrap
• Granny Apple Green 5-3/8” x 2-3/4”, 5-3/8” x 4-1/8”
• Whisper White 5-1/8” x 3-7/8”, Scrap
• How Sweet it is (Polka Dot) DSP 5-3/8” x 2-3/4”
• How Sweet it is (Stripes) DSP 5-3/8” x 1-1/8” (2)

Instructions:

• Fold card base on all score lines
• Ink up cupcake stamp with Granny Apple Green, stamp randomly on coordinating cardstock, adhere to front panel with Liquid glue.
• Adhere both pieces of stripes DSP to small panels of card base.
• Ink inside sentiment with Gorgeous Grape ink, stamp on Whisper White layer.
• Ink the stars/shapes stamp with Granny Apple Green to decorate the bottom of the inside layer, adhere that to the Granny Apple Green layer.
• Adhere those layers to the card base.
• Adhere polka dot DSP to the back side of the card base.
• Die cut a scallop circle through the Big Shot with Gorgeous Grape scrap; die cut Stitched shapes circle with Highland Heather scrap.
• Stamp sentiment with Gorgeous Grape in on Whisper White scrap, diecut with Layering circles framelit through the Big Shot, adhere all layers together with Liquid glue.
• Add a few Glitter Enamel dots around the sentiment, tie a bow with the ribbon, adhere bow with a Mini Glue dot to the card front,
• Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Let's Stroll Down Memory Lane - Bella & Friends

Next month the new Catalog will be unveiled and I just know that you are going to LOVE it!  In the meantime, let's stroll down memory lane and look at some of the stamp sets that will be retiring on May 31st, 2019.  In the days to come, if you see a stamp set that is retiring, be sure to go to my Store and place your order.  You can use my May Host Code:  BZNWZ3WJ if your order is $150 or less.

The first stamp set that I want to visit again is Bella & Friends; what a fun stamp set this is and, of course, I will be sorry to see this one leave. The puppies are so cute, and the stamp set was always perfect for a little girl or boy.  I know that I used it quite a bit and it even was our Stamp of the Month.

Here are the cards that I designed for Stamp of the Month. This one was a perfect little boy's birthday card.

I sent this card for a little pick me up for my little granddaughter.

 I used some masking on this card to achieve the three puppy combo.

 What a cute Get Well card that this was.

Strolling Down Memory Lane With Jar of Love

The stamp set Jar of Love was a pretty set and could be used for so much!  It had matching Framelits called Everyday Jars.

This set is only available until May 31st and then it will be retired.  If you want this set, I would think about ordering it now rather than later.  Be sure to use my May Host Code BQNWZ3WJ if your order is under $150.

Here is the stamp set:

 This card was striking as we used White Craft Ink to sponge color onto the Birch Trees of the Woodland Embossing Folder.

 This cute card was made in our Kit Class, by adding the doily we created such a striking card.

 This card was one of my favorites with this stamp set, the Night of Navy and the Mambo Melon just added so much to this beautiful card.

 We used the Everyday Jars Framelits to also cut the Designer Series Paper and then stamped the jars with Memento ink to create our canning jars.The Sparkle Embossing Folder is also retiring.
