New In Colors Coming Soon!!

We have some new In Colors to play with and they are so pretty, I think that you are really going to love them as much as I do!

So many times, I hear that the colors are similar to older colors; so let's take a look:

Here is a comparison of the New In Colors to other colors that we either have had or have right now. See there really is a difference and I must say, I am liking what I am seeing

It's hard to accept change but with all things we much accept it. If there are colors like the retiring 2017-2019 In Colors, I would suggest that you stock up on them now as they will sell out. I always look at it that we should "embrace" change, it is what makes us all exciting!!

Graduation Time

I was recently asked to make a card for a girl's graduation card. I had never really thought about making any specific card, the graduation cards that I have made have been pretty generic.  So after a little looking around, and adding my own spin to it, this is what I came up with.

Tell me what you think, I think it turned out pretty awesome myself.

Remembering Country Livin'

Awe this one that I definitely will miss, Country Livin'  It was a great set, one that I used a lot and I loved it!  Maybe it's because I am a Country Livin' person, having lived in the country in central Wisconsin all of my life, I can't imagine myself anywhere else.

Country Livin' stamp set was our May, 2017 Stamp of the Month. I had a lot of fun creating cards for this one, I remember.  Isn't this nice remembering these old stamp sets?!  Don't forget to place your order before June 3rd, that is when these stamp sets will officially retire, they are not going to make it to the Clearance Rack either I am told.  So use my May Host Code:  BZNWZ3WJ and go to my store to make your order. Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Pocket of Sunshine (143719) Pocket Framelits (143750)
• PAPER – Pacific Point Cardstock (111350)
• Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (119685)
• Whisper White Cardstock (100730)

• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Versamark Pad (102283), Embossing Buddy (103083), Stampin’ Emboss Powder White (109132), 2’ Circle Punch (133782), Pearlized Doilies (146936), Whisper White 1/8” Sheer Ribbon (144172) Approximately 13-14 inches.

CUTTING

• Whisper White 4”x 4”
• Pacific Point 3 7/8” x 3 7/8”
• Cherry Cobbler scraps for stamping and punching a 2″ circle and stamping and trimming on the pocket.
• 3 1/2” x 3-1/2” (or larger) Scrap for Stamping and Die cutting Pocket

• INSTRUCTIONS:

• Pacific Point Cardstock- (11” x 4-1 /4”), score at 2-3/4”, 4-1/4” and 8-1/2”. This is your card base.
• Fold 2 3/4” fold to the right, and 4 1/4” fold to the left, and the 8 1/2” so it folds to the inside. This fold will create your gift card or cash pocket. Glue only on the edges of this fold, so you can insert whatever you choose.
• Glue 4”x4” White Cardstock to 3 7/8” x 3 7/8” Pacific Point Cardstock.
• Smooth Embossing Buddy over the Pacific Point Scrap Cardstock Piece
• Stamp with Versamark the Pocket of Pocketful of Sunshine
• Cover with White Embossing the Powder and shake off and heat with Heat Tool.
• Diecut Pocket with Coordinating Die.
• Stamp sentiment on Cherry Cobbler for Pocket trimming. Die Cut with Coordinating Pocket Tab.
• Fold over Edges of Pocket.
• Attach Pocket Trim on the Pocket Edge and Glue on 4”x4” Cardstock.
• Place Glue only on the Edge of the 4”x4” that will be attached to the Card Base. Attach.
• Stamp Sentiment on Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. Punch Sentiment with 2- inch Punch placing the Sentiment towards the Bottom of the Circle.
• Glue Pearlized Doily on Gift Card Pocket, folding over the top of the Doily. Glue 2” Cherry Cobbler Sentiment Circle folding over the top Over the Doily.
• Tie White Sheer Ribbon Around the Gift Pocket Holder.

Remembering Sheltering Tree

Here is another stamp set that will definitely be missed, Sheltering Tree. This set can be used so many different ways as you will see with the cards that I post today.  This has been a fun thing to do is remember the retiring stamp sets and perhaps it will tell you to place that order for your favorite stamp set before it retires on June 3rd, only 14 days from now!  Don't forget to use the Host Code BZNWZ3WJ when you place your order if it is under $150. Remembering Dragonfly Dreams

Another favorite stamp set of mine was Dragonfly Dreams.  I remember when this set was introduced, oh my what a frenzy it created!!  It is a two part stamp set and had a coordinating Thinlit that you could use to cut out the Dragonflies.  What a fun set. But sadly this set is only available for 15 more days.  If you don't own it and would like to, I would suggest going to my store and placing your order. I used this stamp set and the thinlits at a few classes, I know one thing that my stamping ladies just loved this set from 2017.
