Over the Moon!!

Oh my gosh!! The Over the Moon stamp set is for the cows! Literately!! At the Annual Open House, the Over the Moon stamp set was a very popular set with everyone there. But then we happen to live in the dairy state and I knew that this set would be a must with most of my stamping ladies.

June Technique Cards - Floating Frame

Have you tried the Floating Frame technique yet? It's all the rage right now and was one that I knew that my ladies would want to try. This technique uses Press 'N Seal to hold the little die cut pieces, while you attach dimensions to hold the pieces on your card. This great technique creates 2 cards from one set up which makes it even more fun!

Card #1 - For You Dad!

Stamp Set: Best Catch with Coordinating Catch of the Days Dies
Ink: Memento Black, Smokey Slate, Pretty Peacock
Paper: Pretty Peacock Base, Whisper White Layer and scraps
Accessories: Dimensions, Rectangle Stitched Framelits

Card #2 - World's Best Father

Stamp Set: Best Catch with Coordinating Catch of the Day Dies
Ink: Memento Ink, Soft Suede, Pretty Peacock

For our Fancy Fold, we had a Fancy Project; The 3 Envelope Album
What a fun way to make a photo album to display your photos, its easy to take it with you and you can even send it to someone special. I used photos of my sweethearts to showcase this fun and easy album.

The above is the front cover; I added a vellum flower and greeting from the Floral Essence stamp set.

Here is the inside of the album, you leave a pocket for a message.

Inside is the message, it slides right into the envelopes.

STAMPS & DIES – To A Wild Rose (149452), Crackle Paint (148752), Wild Rose Dies (149547)
PAPER – Whisper White cardstock (100730), Thick Whisper White (140272), Blushing Bride (131198), Blackberry Bliss (133675)
INK – Blushing Bride (147100), Gray Granite (147118)
OTHER – Gray Granite Ribbon (147656), Basic Pearls (144219), Story Label Punch (150076), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin Dimensionals (104430)
Cutting & Scoring:

Whisper White Thick 5.5” x 8.25” scored at 4.25”

Blackberry Bliss 5 3/8” X 4 1/8”

Blushing Bride 5 1/8” X 3 7/8”

Scrap of Whisper White

Scrap of Blackberry Bliss

Instructions:

Stamp the Blushing Bride layer with Gray Granite on the Crackle Paint background stamp.
Stamp the line image of rose with Gray Granite ink on a scrap of Whisper White. Using Blushing Bride ink stamp the detail image of the rose over the line image lining up the petals.
Using the leaf stamp image stamp two on the scrap of Whisper White
Cut the leaves and the rose using the matching dies.
Before assembling punch two story labels with the punch out of the center of the Blackberry Bliss layer. Cut each in half one vertically and one horizontally.
Punch a story label out of Whisper White scrap.
Stamp the hello greeting in Gray Granite on the white label, adhere the 4 pieces of Blackberry Bliss labels to form a shadow layer.
Adhere the Blushing Bride layer to the Blackberry Bliss layer.
Attach a piece of the Gray Granite ribbon to the front of the Blushing Bride layer then attach to your card front.
Attach the greeting layer
Using dimensionals arrange and attach the leaves and rose. Embellish with pearls.

Beautiful Designer Series Paper

Have you noticed the Designer Series Paper that is in the new Annual Catalog? Well, if you haven't you really need to!! The papers are just beautiful and I was so happy to offer it as a Paper Share not once but twice!

A Paper Share is when you gather 8 people together and we all get a 6x6 piece of the Designer Series Paper; that adds up to 75 sheets. But Wait!! You end up getting 78 sheets because of Host Benefits and that was 3 additional 6x6 sheets of the new and beautiful Noble Peacock Foil Sheets. All this for $24.

I got the first batch of Designer Series Paper and quickly started cutting!! I just delivered most of it and will be getting the second batch of papers this week. I still have room if you are interested in getting in on this beautiful paper. I can even ship it to you, contact me for prices.

Happy Birthday...To Me!

This past week was my birthday, at my age it really isn't celebrated like when you were a kid with a cake and party; BUT my stamping ladies and my folks did not let my birthday slip by. Jim was busy that night so my folks took me out for supper and it was really good! On Monday, every single one of my Technique ladies had cards and a gift for me, the Stampin' Up! Hoodie sweatshirt, I LOVE it!! Plus all of the cards that I received in the mail, I had a total of 16 cards and all but 2 were Stampin' Up!!

Let me show me the gorgeous cards that I received from my very talented ladies, from different angles.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes (over 100 of them on Facebook) and all of the cards, I felt the love!!
