How Fun is This?!!

I got pictures just the other day of some beautiful cards made by our own Katelynn!!  I was camping so I was not able to post the cards sooner. As her grandma would say, she is hooked!!

 I can't wait to see the next set of cards that this girl makes!!  It makes me so happy to see a young person get into crafting (of any kind) and it also makes me really happy when you share that with me. Thanks Judy for sharing pictures of Katelynn and her latest creations.

A Wild Rose Friendship

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – To A Wild Rost (149452 photopolymer)
• PAPER – Old Olive(100702), Pretty Peacock (150880), Whisper White (100730)
• INK – Old Olive (147090), Pretty Peacock (150083), Melon Mambo (147051), Stazon Jet Black (101406)
• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Wild Rose Dies (149547),Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8” Reversible Ribbon (149496), Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush Clear (141897), Tear & Tape Adhesive (138995), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Old Olive 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4”, and a scrap at least 4” x 2-3/4”
• Pretty Peacock 5-1/4” x 4” and a scrap at least 4” x 2-3/4”
• Whisper White 4-7/8” x 3-3/4”

Instructions:

• Die cut the Wild Rose Die “Frame” twice, once using the Old Olive Scrap and once using the Pretty Peacock Scrap in the Big Shot.
• Using the To A Wild Rose sentiment stamp “True friendship Is One Of God’s greatest gifts”, ink it with Pretty Peacock onto the Old Olive Die “Frame”.
• Cut the Wild Rose Die “Frame” done with the Pretty Peacock Paper in half length wise. This will be used as a frame behind the stamped sentiment done on the Old Olive Wild Rose Die “Frame” as shown in the photo.
• Adhere the 2 pieces of the Wild Rose Die “Frame” done with Pretty Peacock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the top and bottom of the Wild Rose Die “Frame” done in Old Olive as shown in the photo.
• On the Whisper White Paper use Old Olive Ink and the solid leaf with stem photopolymer stamp. The affect was achieved by inking the stamp once then stamping on the paper twice to get the shadow affect.
• Using Jet Black Stazon Ink and the Outlined Rose Photopolymer Stamp from To A Wild Rose Stamp Set, stamp the image on the lower right corner of the Whisper White Paper as shown in the photo.
• Using Pretty Peacock Ink stamp only the first step of the To A Wild Rose “Rose” on top of the Rose Outlined Photopolymer stamp as shown in the photo.
• Using Melon Mambo Ink and the small flower center from the To A Wild Rose Stamp Set, stamp it in the middle of the “Rose” image as shown in the photo.
• Using a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back of the Old Olive Die Frame in the center, tape the Pretty Peacock side of the 3/8” ribbon facing up as shown on the photo.
• Place Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Die Frame and adhere it to the upper left corner of the Whisper White Paper as shown in the photo and tape the ribbon to the back of the paper.
• Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue adhere the Whisper White paper to the Pretty Peacock Paper.
• Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue adhere the Whisper White Paper/Pretty Peacock Paper to the Old Olive Card Base as shown in the photo.
• Apply Wink Of Stella to the “Rose” in the lower right corner and on the Pretty Peacock Paper Die Frame.
