Spotlight Stamper - Katelynn

My Spotlight Stamper today is our own Katelynn, she has been stamping with us all summer and I am impressed at how well she is stamping and how far she has come.  She has been working hard making all different kinds of fun folds. Just awesome, thanks for sharing!!

Katelynn advised me that this is called a Twisted Gate Fold, she gets her ideas from Pinterest.

 Here is the next fancy fold, I am going to call it the Twisted Fold.

 Here is the next one, this one took everyone by surprise. Keep scrolling to see the what happens when you pull the "Handle with Care" piece.

 Another fold that seems to be a variation of the Joy Fold.

• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Layering Circles Dies (141705), Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder (149583), Dinoroar Designer Series Paper (149589), Starburst Punch (143717), 2” Circle Punch (133782), Dinoroar Enamel Shapes (149591), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Mango Melody 8-1/2” x 4-1/4” scored at 5-1/2”, Scrap
• Pool Party 5-1/4” x 4”
• Pretty Peacock 9” x 2-1/2” scored at 4-1/2”, Scrap
• Whisper White 4-1/4” x 2-1/4” (2), Scrap
• Dinoroar DSP 4” x 2-3/4”

Instructions:

• Fold card base at score line.
• Run Pool Party layer through Die cutting machine with the Eyelet Lace embossing folder, adhere to card base with Liquid Glue.
• Adhere DSP to bottom flap of card base.
• Stamp Dinosaur feet with Pretty Peacock ink, stamp along bottom of the Whisper White layer, Stamp Dinosaur with Pool Party and Melody Mango inks above the feet, adhere to front panel of Pretty Peacock base.
• Stamp sentiment on second piece of Whisper White layer with Pretty Peacock ink, adhere to inside with Liquid Glue.
• Apply Liquid Glue to the backside of the Pretty Peacock base, adhere to card base.
• Using a Pretty Peacock scrap, punch with the Starburst punch.
• Using Mango Melody scrap, punch out a 2” Circle
• Stamp outside sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink on a Whisper White scrap, die cut with Layering Circles Framelits through die cutting machine.
• Adhere all circle layers together with Liquid Glue.
• Adhere Dinoroar Enamel Shape to the sentiment layer.
• Adhere layers to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Enjoy.

Check Your Calendars, Christmas Card Class Coming in September

It's back!! The Christmas Card Class is Back!!  Starting Wednesday, September 18; but wait mark your calendar also for the October 16 and the November 13 classes.  This is our third year that we have been doing the Christmas Card Class.

Starting at 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

We will be making 10 Christmas Cards. This is how it works; I am posting Christmas Card Samples along with this Invite. You pick your favorite one and let me know. Between now and class I will cut and score the cards for you and bring them to class.

All you need to remember is your adhesive and scissors. 

Please only pick one card for September, unless you feel you can complete 20 cards, then you can pick 2 designs of 10.

Card #1 - 3 Trees in Plaid

 Card #2 - Flowers

 Card #3 - Deer

 Card #4 - Snowman

 Card #5 - Cabin

 

If you can make it, please send me an email with your choice by September 8 so that I have time to get everything cut.

Cost of Class is $10 for 10 Christmas Cards or Free with a $20 Stampin' Up! Order This class can also be a Class to Go!  Just let me know your choice and I will get the cards ready, you would use your own similar stamps.
