When in Rome!

Isn't that how the saying goes?  We have a camper on a local lake that we go to in the summer. I always like to be prepared with something to do if the weather is not the greatest. Also, this time of year seems to be my busy time in the paper crafting world.

I have found one Stampin' Up! tool that I just love and one that has made my life so much easier. That one tool is the Stamparatus!
Stamparatus 146276
Price: $49.00
A must-have tool for all stampers, the Stamparatus helps you perfectly align stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and precisely, and get complete ink coverage.

It was created by stampers for stampers, so it has all the features you want:

* Compatible with red rubber and photopolymer stamps
* 2 magnets to hold the paper in place
* Rulers on 2 sides for quick measuring
* 2 open sides so you can use larger paper
* Multiple hinges for more placement options
* 2 reversible plates for 4 sides to work with
* 1 foam mat for use with photopolymer
* 1 base with grid
* Magnet storage areas

 Are you wondering what I was working on?  Why it was MY Christmas Cards!  I am so busy cutting cardstock for all of my classes, that sometimes I just don't have the time.

Thursday Spotlight Stamper - Cory Hand & Deb Vine

Today's Spotlight Stamper is not only Cory Hand but also Deb Vine!  Both Cory and Deb sent me a beautiful card in August.  So it was only fitting to share both of them with you!

Remember, you can also be a Spotlight Stamper, just make a card and send me a picture or come to a class and bring your cards!!  I love to see what you have been creating and I will take pictures to post. You can used retired Stampin' Up! products, but I just ask that the cards be mostly Stampin' Up!

Here is Cory's card:
 Cory combined an Embossing Folder with Paper and Punches.  Isn't great?!  The Pansy Punch is a great addition to this card and adds so much dimension. I love how a simple White Card Base was not only the right choice for this card but it also adds so much contrast.  Thanks for sharing Cory!!

Here is Deb's card:
I always loved this stamp set called Oh So Eclectic Stamp set and the coordinating dies called Eclectic Layers Thinlits. There was some beautiful Designer Paper that also matched this perfectly.  This is a gorgeous card and I thank you for sharing it with us!

My Special Visitors!

Last week I had some special visitors that came to visit. I always smile because when I ask them would you like to play with the toys that I have or do you have something else in mind. They usually will tell me, "Grandma we want to stamp!"

How about you?  Would you like to get into stamping?  It is a great hobby that you can do any time of the year, regardless of the weather. It is not only a great way to get away from the stress and a great way to create.  So contact me, I have a number of classes and I just bet we could come up with a way to get you creating!!  As Stampin' Up! says, "Creativity is Calling!"

Here are the pictures that I took of my sweethearts creating cards using the techniques that we will be doing tonight at the September Technique Class.

Here is our little Easton, he is 5 and just started Kindergarten. As you can see, he is a very careful stamper. He just started school and told me that it is just great and wishes he could go to school everyday. He is using the Sprinkles & Mask Technique to make his card.
 Here is our little Andi, she is 8 and is in 3rd Grade. She loves to dance, cheer at football games, loves animals (any kind) and loves her brother. (Even though she doesn't want to admit it) Here she has finished her Sprinkles & Mask Technique, she is waiting for the card to dry.
 Easton just realized that I was taking his picture so I got this big smile from him!  His card is taking shape!
 Easton isn't the only one who is a careful stamper, Andi is also and even took a card to the fair!
Here are their finished cards, I would say that they did an excellent job. What do you think?

Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to look at my cards. I would be honored if you would allow me to be your Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Just go to my On Line Store:  https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/default.aspx
