Halloween Treats!

Do you make your Halloween Treats? For those of us with small families or live in a rural area, we don't get many Trick & Treaters making cute treat holders is pretty easy. On Monday was our October Technique Class, we also received some very cute treats!!
Here are the treats that I received, they are the very cutest!!
From Deb Vine the BOO Popcorn Box using Halloween Designer Series Paper, from Bernie Seidl the Milk Carton featuring our Over the Moon stamp set.
Then we have these Little Monsters!!  Bernie also made these using the  Keepsake Dies, don't you just love the "googly eyes"?!

Now here is the special treat that Bernie made just for me!  She just got the Ride with Me Stamp set that coordinates with the Truck Ride Die and made this absolutely adorable Ford Ranger!!  If you know me I have owned my 2004 Ford Ranger since, 2004!!  When I bought it, she had 200 miles on her, she has 133,000 miles now.  She still looks good, if I do say so myself. Notice that I call her she?  Her name is Silver and she has been a very reliable truck. Notice the very shiny hub caps and its hauling a Hershey candy bar.
Bernie watched some You Tube videos and found how you can make this little box for the bottom of the truck.
Here is the back of "My Ford" and I really do have a vinyl words on the back window that say, "I'd Rather be Hunting".  The license plate of my little truck has my name on it. The tail lights are our Red Glimmer Paper so that they are extra sparkly.
Thank you all for the treats, you guys are just the best!!

Spotlight Stamper Thursday - Bernie Seidl

I knew when I saw the Toile Christmas stamp set in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, I immediately thought of Bernie.  Why you ask, well I knew that she loves cardinals, and who doesn't!  The Toile Christmas set has coordinating paper and dies called Christmas Cardinal Dies.  They can all be found on pages 6 to page 8 of the Holiday Catalog.

Veterans Cards - Official Count!!

As promised, I have an "Official Count" of Honor Flight Cards for our Veterans!  The unofficial count included cards that I thought I would receive from my stamping ladies. Well last night was our Technique Class, and they really surprised me!!!

Here are all of the cards that I received last night:
I received cards from Arlys Knoop, Judy Vine, Katelyn Vine, Bernie Seidl, Rita Jakobi and Deb Vine. All I can say (besides thank you) is WELL DONE!!

Ok, so now the official card count for our Veterans is (*drum roll*) - 91 Cards!!
(This does not count the cards that I have coming from my other stamping ladies that I know are coming!) How cool is that?!!

Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I could collect 100 cards for our Veterans, I was hoping but I am just so impressed and humbled by the outpouring.

Thank You Everyone!
Cindy

Honor Flight Cards for Our Veterans

I have an "Unofficial" card count for our Honor Flight Cards for Our Veterans. The response has been very good and I just know that we are going to hit our goal of 100 cards.

Anyone that stamps can participate, all you need is some cardstock, ink and a Thank You stamp. Do you have any Designer Series Paper in Red, White & Blue?  That is a perfect way to get started! Even if you are not one of my regular stampers, come on participate!!

Last year just from my regular stampers I was able to collect about 50 cards, just think what we can all do if we work together. I will be in Neillsville for 2 more classes, AND my folks "go for coffee" every day and are willing to take your cards and deliver them to me!!

Here are the cards that Judy Vine made:
Here are the cards that Marianne Dresher made, she is a friend to our own Janet Forton.
Aren't they great?!!  Remember you can get in on the card making, just connect with me and get started!!

Now for the Unofficial Count:  75 Cards have been collected for our Veterans.  Good job everyone!!
