Special Visitors Visiting!!

Last week I had a couple of visitors and their first request (which is music to my ears) "Grandma can we stamp a card?"  Well, of course, you can!!  They also know that I have a couple of rules, we just can't create a mess unless I say so, we have to have a purpose to our card making and only grandma runs the cutters. They are both very good stampers, I am so impressed. (If I do say so myself)

They both requested to make a Christmas card for their teacher. Here they are both working on the little table that I have behind my desk. Just look at those happy faces!!

 And here are the finished cards!  I think I caught Andi off guard, she was probably talking.  We call her Miss TalksAlot!

Their cards turned out so cute and they were so proud of them.  I know that their teachers will just love them.

Spotlight Stamper Thursday - Featuring Deb Vine

Debbie Vine never disappoints, she always brings me beautiful cards to share with all of you. So without wasting anymore time, let's see what she made!!

She used the First Frost Designer Series Paper to make some beautiful birthday cards.

Deb cut the fruit out of some retired paper and made a fruit basket!  Used the Apple Builder punch with retired paper for the last card. How creative was that?!!

Even if your papers are retired, get them out and make some cards!  With just a little variation, you have cards with entirely new looks.

• PAPER – Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper (150444), Seaside Spray (150883), Night of Navy (100867), Whisper White (100730)
• INK – Memento Black (132708)
• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Stitched Rectangles Dies (148551), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Snowfall Accents Puff Paint (150691), Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker from the Regals Stampin' Write Markers (147155), Heat Tool (129053)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Seaside Spray 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”
• Night of Navy 4” x 5 1/4”
• Whisper White 1 3/4” x 3 1/4”
• Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper (DSP) 3 3/4” x 5”

• Seaside Spray 2” x 3 1/2”

Instructions:

• Fold 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” piece of Seaside Spray on the 4 1/4” score line.
• Adhere the Night of Navy to the front of the Seaside Spray card front.
• Adhere the Feels Like Frost DSP to the Night of Navy Layer.
• Cut the Whisper White and the Seaside Spray smaller pieces with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
• Stamp the Snowman and Let It Snow in Memento Black ink, let dry.
• Color carrot on Snowman with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker.
• Apply Puff Paint to snowflakes and heat with Heat Tool. Let Cool.
• Adhere Whisper White Stitched Piece to Seaside Spray Stitched Piece, then adhere this piece to the front of the card using Dimensionals.
• Enjoy!

Christmas Cards in Red Plaid

Have you noticed how popular the Red Plaid is in the stores, it is everywhere!!  I was asked to come up with a Christmas card using Red Plaid.  This is what I did!
