Spotlight Stamper - Bernice Seidl

As we say goodbye to 2019 I have a few more cards to share with you that I received from Bernie. She always has such great ideas when it comes to card making. Whats more, I have been stamping with Bernie for the last 10 years and I can tell you that the more you stamp, the better you get. We are always learning and evolving.

Here are Bernie's Winter Cards:
The Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper has so many possibilities.  Here Bernie just added the snowman and a greeting.  It is a Christmas greeting, but you know this card could also be a "Hello" card.

 When you flip the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper over, you have this lovely white and silver embossed images. Beautiful!!

Another card using the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper.  This paper is so great and I am so happy to know that this paper will be carried forward to the next catalog.

 A very popular stamp set is the Snow Front from the Holiday Catalog. You receive all of the stamps to make the mountains, deer, cabin cardinals, trees and more.  Let the artist in you come out.  These type of stamps are very popular right now.

• INK – Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad (147114); Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad (147116); Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin’ Pad (147111)
• OTHER – 5/8” Burlap Ribbon (141487); Stitched Rectangles Dies (148551); Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755); Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430); Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock 11” x 4-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2”; 5” x 3-3/4”
• Early Espresso cardstock 5-1/4” x 4” and 1-3/4” x 1-1/4”
• Very Vanilla Cardstock 5” x 3 – 3/4”, 1 scrap for sentiment
• Burlap Ribbon 3”

Instructions:

• Fold Very Vanilla Thick cardstock on the score line.
• On Very Vanilla 5” x 3-3/4” piece of cardstock, stamp the background mountains using Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad. Use reverse side of stamp to stamp the mountain details using the Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad. Stamp the trees/grass using Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin’ Pad.
• Stamp sentiment from Good Morning Magnolia stamp set onto the scrap piece of Very Vanilla and die cut using the smallest rectangle from Stitched Rectangles.
• Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Very Vanilla mountain layer to the Early Espresso layer, the Early Espresso layer to the card base, and the sentiment to the small Early Espresso piece.
• Adhere the Burlap Ribbon near the top right side of the card base using Mini Glue Dots.
• Adhere the sentiment layer over the Burlap ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp of the Month - Voting is Open!!

Did you know that I have a Stamp of the Month?  We have been doing this fun activity for a while now and anyone can join in on the fun.  Here is a handy list of the Stamp of the Month guidelines, I will be listing the three selections for you to vote on.  Just leave a reply with your vote.

The Winner will be announced, usually after the 15^th of the month.

• Email me that you will be participated and then send me your check for $24.
• The $24 covers the cost of the Stamp set and the 4 cards, including shipping and sales tax.

• Receive the Stamp Set that we vote on and everything that you need to make 4 cards.
• Stamp Set and Kit will be delivered to you about the 10^th of the next month.
• The kit will include, not only, the stamp set but also the cut cardstock, embellishments and instructions to make the 4 cards in the comfort of your home or free time.
