Card with Matching Envelope - On Line Class 02/04/2020

This past Monday was my Free On Line Class, I called it Card with Matching Envelope.  This fun technique is one that I will be making again and again.  I also like how it uses a 6x6 sheet of Designer Series Paper and there are no scraps!

Here is the card that I made on the class video:

Stamp Setsa:  So Sentimental, Parcels & Petals (Inside)
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight
Paper:  Petal Pink Base, Daffodil Delight Layer 4 x 5 1/2, Best Dressed Designer Series Paper 3 3/4 x 5 (Front), White Scrap 2 1/2 x 3 3/4, White Inside 3 3/4 x 5
Accessories:  Petal Pink Rhinestone Gems, Stitched So Sweetly Dies (Occasions Catalog)

*Remember when cutting your Designer Series Paper, save the 2 extra pieces; you can use the small strip on the inside and the long piece is for the envelope flap.

Here is the first video that I did on Monday (you can quit the video when it starts to get blurry, as the second video is so much better)



Now because there was nothing that I could do about the blurriness, I have found that if I use my Verizon Jet Pack and didn't use TDS the stamping was better. So here is the second video that I did the next day. Because this was such a great technique and because I am no quitter, I had to give it a try. But then the video is sideways and that isn't right either!!  Back to the drawing board!

Wednesday Wow! - Happy Birthday Lion!

• STAMPS –Bonanza Buddies (151567)
• PAPER –Whisper White (100730), Daffodil Delight (119683), Bermuda Bay (131197), Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper (151313)
• INK – Bermuda Bay (147096), Mango Melody (147093), Daffodil Delight (147094), Momento Black (132708)
• OTHER –1-1/2” Circle Punch (138299), Label Me Fancy Punch (151297), Daffodil Delight 1/4” Ruched Ribbon (151311), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Mini Stampin Dimensionals (144108)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Daffodil Delight 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
• Birthday Bonanza DSP 5-1/16 x 3-13/16”

• Bermuda Bay 5-1/4” x 4”, 5/8” x 3-13/16, scrap for label
• Whisper White 4” x 5-1/4” (inside), scrap for greeting

Instructions:

• Fold Daffodil Delight cardstock in half to make card base
• Adhere the Birthday Bonanza DSP to the larger layer of Bermuda Bay using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Adhere the small strip of Bermuda Bay cardstock across the front as shown
• Wrap the Daffodil Delight ribbon around the card and tie with a bow on the left side of the card (add a mini glue dot under the knot to hold the ribbon in place
• Punch the Label Me Fancy label from the scrap of Bermuda Bay cardstock
• Stamp the greeting in Bermuda Bay ink on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock
• Punch out the greeting using the 1-1/2” circle punch
• Stamp the candles in Daffodil Delight ink stamping off once, and the flame in Mango Melody ink as shown
• Adhere the circle to the center of the label using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Adhere the label to the front of the card using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Stamp the lion (a 2-step stamp using Daffodil Delight & Mango Melody ink) and the greeting in Bermuda Bay ink on the Whisper White layer
• Adhere this layer to the inside of the card
• Enjoy!

January Kit Cards

Last week was our Kit Class right here in Neillsville at Schmittys on Main in the basement. It works out so well having our class there after hours. I am so grateful for that.

We had some great cards to choose from, 7 cards to choose from to make our 5, 10 or 15 cards. This went over very well and I will try to continue to do this. Remember, this class is also available as a Class to Go! just get in touch and I will get you all set up!
