Spotlight Stampers!! Happy Valentine's!

I have three Spotlight Stampers today; they are Bernie Seidl, Donnella Maynard and Deb Vine!  How lucky we are to have three wonderful stampers to join us today. One more thing...Happy Valentine's Day!

However you celebrate, make yourself a Valentine's card to either send or keep it for yourself. Why?  Because you are worth it!!

Our first card comes to you from Bernie Seidl, love her card layout. 

Can't fail with a white on white card, these are easy to make but our often overlooked. Thanks Bernie for this card.

Remember the frogs from last year's Sale a Bration?!  Well Bernie used them in this cute Valentine's Card and paired it with the Lily Pad Designer Series Paper which is in this year's SAB catalog. How Clever!!

 And here are some cute Valentine gifts that Bernie created, they hold a Brownie Mix and Frosting Packet, you just add 2 tablespoons of milk or water and then microwave. How cute is this?!!

Here are three more cards from Donnella Maynard. She used the new Detailed Hearts Die on the first card and used the Heartfelt Punches and From My Heart Designer Series Paper for the third card. The second card uses DSP from last year but it is so gorgeous, why not?!

The last cards that I have to share with you today come from Deb Vine.

Deb used the Heartfelt Bundle with the coordinating Hearts Punches. They can be found on page 10 of the Occasions Catalog and are a bundle.  You save 10% when you purchase the stamp set and punches. AND there are two full sized punches, a smooth edge and a scallop heart punch.

Valentine Hearts!

Happy Valentines! Today's cards are all about Love and Hearts!  And my Sweethearts!  Here are the cards that I made for my little grandkids! Of course I have some chocolate for them also, but they love the cards that I make for them.

This design fed off of the decorating the envelope to match the card. The Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! can do just that, the From My Heart DSP it is all color coordinating.  I am sure that you noticed that the stamp set from Stampin' Up! You Plus Me is retired.  I had a hard time finding a Valentine set that the words were not in cursive.

 I forgot to post this picture of myself with Andi after we made our cards with matching envelopes using Designer Series Paper.  She always wants to stamp when she comes to grandma's.

On Line Class - February 11

If you have not had time to catch my On Line Class from this past February 11, I have it here.  The class was all about the great stamp set with matching punch; Under My Umbrella and Umbrella Builder Punch.

Here is the card that we made, a simple but really pretty card.  I always offer little tips when it comes to stamping, so be sure to watch the video. I have it attached below.

Stamp Sets:  Under My Umbrella, Enjoy Life
Ink:  Memento Black, Soft Suede, Blueberry Bushel, Pear Pizzazz, Seaside Spray, Crumb Cake
Paper:  Pear Pizzazz Base, Flirty Flamingo Layer, Whisper White 3 3/4 x 5, Perfect Poppies Designer Series Paper (Umbrella)
Accessories:  Umbrella Builder Punch, Dimensionals, Subtle Embossing Folder

Here was another card that I made and it shows how versatile this stamp set is. It is not meant to be a Valentine's stamp but it worked perfectly to become one.

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Under My Umbrella (photopolymer 151518), Under My Umbrella Bundle (153786)
• PAPER – Real Red (102482), Flirty Flamingo (141416), Whisper White (100730), From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) (151189)
• INK – Memento Tuxedo Black Pad (132708)
• OTHER – Umbrella Builder Punch (151293), Real Red Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon (151155), From My Heart Faceted Gems (151154), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Real Red – 11” x 4-1/4”, score and fold at 5-1/2”
• Flirty Flamingo – 5-3/8” x 4-1/8”
• Whisper White – 2 @ 5-1/4” x 4”, scrap paper
• From My Heart Specialty DSP – 3 scraps for umbrella punch

Instructions:

• Using the Under My Umbrella stamp set and Memento Black ink, stamp the umbrella on 3 different DSP sheets of paper. Stamp the umbrella handle 3 times on the Whisper White scrap paper.
• Using the Umbrella Builder Punch, punch out the 3 stamped umbrellas and the 3 stamped handles.
• Stamp the sentiment on the bottom of the Whisper White layer with Memento Black ink. Attach this layer to the Flirty Flamingo layer. Tie the ribbon into a bow and attach to this layer, then attach to the Real Red card base.
• Attach the punched handles to the punched umbrellas. Using the Stampin’ Dimensionals, attach the umbrellas to the card.
• Attach 5 From My Heart Faceted Gems randomly to the card.
• Attach the remaining Whisper White layer to the inside of the card.

Happy Valentines!

With Valentines Day coming up real fast, we are almost half way through February, oh my!!  Here is a Valentine's card that I made using the Stampin' Up! stamp set Under the Umbrella with the matching Umbrella Builder Punch.

Stamp Sets:  Under My Umbrella
Ink:  Memento Black
Paper:  Real Red Base, Whisper White Layer, From My Heart Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Dimensionals, Umbrella Builder Punch, Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon

**The easiest way to get perfect placement of your umbrellas, is to stamp the whole umbrella onto the White piece, then punch out the top part of the umbrella and adhere with dimensionals.
