My Spotlight Stamper today is Janet Forton. Janet became a Discount Shopper with me and signed up to Stampin Up! She is one of my downline, she is now taking her hobby one step further and having classes in the Wisconsin Rapids area.  I wish Janet all of the best of luck.

Spotlight Stampers - Bernie & Debbie

My two Spotlight Stampers today, make cards and what is also even better, they send cards!  Nothing says I care like a card and make it yourself, it's even better.

Bernie made the first card, I know that she told me the name of the stamp set but I can't remember it now.  Still a beautiful card.

Deb Vine made the Under My Umbrella cards below.  I am liking everything that I am seeing with this stamp set.  Being that it is a bundle with a coordinating umbrella punch.

Cutting & Scoring:

• Rococo Rose 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, Score at 4-1/4”
• Merry Merlot 5-1/4” x 2”, scraps
• Mint Macaron 3-5/8” x 3-3/8”
• Whisper White 5-1/4” x 4”, 3-1/2” x 3-1/4”, scraps

Instructions:

• Fold card base in half.
• Stamp butterflies randomly on card base with Rococo Rose ink.
• Emboss Merry Merlot layer cardstock Coastal Weave 3D folder through Die cutting machine.
• Wrap a piece of Mint Macaron ribbon around right side of Merry Merlot layer, adhere ends with Mini Glue Dots.
• Tie a small bow, adhere to ribbon with Mini Glue dot.
• Adhere to card base with Liquid glue.
• Stamp sentiment with Merry Merlot ink on Whisper White layer, stamp foliage with Mint Macaron ink as shown.
• Adhere Whisper White layer to Mint Macaron, adhere to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Stamp flowers with Rococo Rose ink on Whisper white scraps, die cut with Nature’s Thoughts dies through die cutting machine.
• Apply Wink of Stella to flowers for a bit of glimmer, adhere flowers to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Die cut butterflies with Merry Merlot scraps through die cutting machine, adhere to card with Liquid Glue.
• Adhere rhinestones as shown.
• ENJOY!!

Spotlight Stamper - Deb Vine

My Spotlight Stamper today is our own Deb Vine. I have been stamping with Deb for quite a few years. Deb also has been known to help out her local 4H group by teaching stamping classes to kids under 10!  That takes a lot of courage don't you think?!!

Here are Deb's Cards:

Deb got a lot of use out of the Annual Catalog with the Honey Bee Bundle that can be found on page 33 of the Annual Catalog.

 The Painted Poppies set from the Occasions Catalog and the Hostess set, Little Ladybug was on Deb's must have list. Aren't the ladybugs cute?!

 The Gang's All Meer was this the centerpiece of this cute card.

March Technique Class Cards - Emboss Resist on Vellum

The second Tuesday of the Month is always Technique Class, and our technique for March was called Emboss Resist on Vellum.  What a neat technique this is and a great variation for a classic Technique.

Its very easy, just emboss the vellum that you are using and apply ink to your image. Wipe off the ink from the embossed piece, you will see a soft color left.  The results are always so pretty.
