Facebook Live Replay - Painted Poppies

Were you able to join me last night? If not, I would like to offer this Facebook Live replay for your viewing pleasure. • PAPER –Whisper White (100730), Pretty Peacock (150880), Mint Macaron (138337), Purple Posie (150881), Best Dressed 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (151319)
• INK –Mint Macaron (147106), Pretty Peacock (150083), Highland Heather (147986)
• OTHER – Die Cutting Machine, Stitched Shapes Dies (145372), Layering Circles Dies (141705), Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder (150646), Mint Macaron 1/8” Sheer Linen Ribbon, Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104490), Mini Glue Dots (103683)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Mint Macaron 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, 3” x 3”

• Purple Posie 4” x 5-1/4”
• Whisper White 4” x 5-1/4” (inside) and 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”
• Pretty Peacock 2” x 5-1/4”, 3” x 3”
• Best Dressed DSP 1-3/4” x 5-1/4”, 1/2" x 4” (inside)

Instructions:

• Fold Mint Macaron in half to make card base.
• Cut out the 2^nd largest Scalloped Circle from the Pretty Peacock square
• Cut out the 2^nd largest Circle from the Mint Macaron square
• Cut out the 2^nd largest Stitched Circle from the Whisper White square
• Run the Purple Posie Layer through the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder
• Adhere the Best Dressed DSP to the Pretty Peacock layer and then adhere to the Purple Posie layer as pictured using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
• Adhere the Purple Posie layer to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• With Pretty Peacock ink, stamp the greeting in the center of the Whisper White stitched circle. With Mint Macaron ink and stamping off once, stamp the branches around the greeting. With Highland Heather ink and stamping off once, stamp the small flowers in any white spaces around the greeting and branches.
• Adhere the stitched circle to the Mint Macaron circle and then adhere that to the Pretty Peacock scalloped circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
• Adhere this layered circle to the card front as pictured with Stampin’ Dimesionals
• Tie a double bow with the Mint Macaron 1/8” Sheer Linen Ribbon and adhere to the front of the card using Mini Glue dots.
• Randomly add several Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the card
• Adhere the 1/2" strip of Best Dressed DSP to the bottom of the inside layer and adhere to the inside of the card
• Enjoy!

April Technique Cards

The April Technique Class was held Monday Night, April 13 just a little bit differently than I have ever done it before. It was held virtually, but I have to humbly thank the ladies that turned out to watch me explain the technique and then demonstrate the technique and fancy fold card. We did our class via a private Facebook Live at a special group that I created. I was so happy how it turned out. I am also happy with how many of the ladies stamped right along with me, even though we could not be together.

The technique that we played with is called Flowering Foils Emboss Resist. It's a spin of the popular Emboss Resist technique, but this technique used the Flowering Foils Designer Series Paper. We sponged ink using a Sponge Brayer or added the color by using a Stampin' Up! Marker. Then by wiping off the excess ink for a spectacular background.

Card #2 - Happy Birthday

INK: Pretty Peacock, Memento Black
PAPER: Pretty Peacock Base, Basic Black Layer, Flowering Foils Layer, Whisper White Scraps
ACCESSORIES: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Pretty Peacock Rhinestones, Silver Cardstock, Dimensions

Card #3 (Fancy Fold) Garden Flower Packet Card

What a fun and easy Fun Fold, plus with a surprise in the inside. You can easily send this card in the mail, I can't wait to make more!
