Spotlight Stamper - Andi

Andi has been having a lot of fun with the Ice Cream Builder Punch, you remember the Teddy Bear card that she made. Here is what you get when you take the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and the Ice Cream Builder Punch and turn them upside down. Clever right?!!

Here is another card that Andi made, making the ice cream into a Ice Cream Treat for sure, its Mickey and Minnie Mouse!! I love how this one turned out.

 Both of these cards are very easy to make and it shows you just two different cards that you make with the Ice Cream Treats stamp set and Ice Cream Builder Punch.

Stampin' Up! Tips - Memory Keeping

 

 

Memory Keeping Made Easy

Memory keeping does not have to be a chore. In fact, it can be a fabulous experience when you use our Memories & More Card Packs! All you need is a Basic Black 6" x 8" (15.2 x 20.3 cm) Album, Variety Pack 6" x 8" (15.2 x 20.3) Photo Pocket Pages, and your choice of Memories & More Card Packs.

Filling the album pages is easy! Simply insert photos, then add double-sided cards, specialty cards, and embellishments from the Memories & More Card Pack for a super-simple way to preserve your memories.

For extra fun, you may want to decorate the album cover. As you can see with our masculine Hello Adventure Album, we fussy cut images and sentiments using World of Good Memories & More Cards. The torn edges on the Designer Series Paper add a rugged texture—or you might want to add a little ink spatter using a Water Painter and ink to give it a “grunge” look and feel.

To create the Beautiful Baby Girl Album, we fussy cut flowers and die-cut letters (using Playful Alphabet Dies) from the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. We also stamped floral images on the Designer Series Paper for added interest. The result is pretty and feminine and oh-so-easy to achieve!

We hope we’ve inspired you to get out your shoeboxes filled with photos and give them a new home! And remember to share your results on social media. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Facebook Live - Hey Birthday Chick

 My featured stamp set this week is Hey Birthday Chick!  This fun set also has matching dies and is just so much fun.  Here is a closeup of the card that I made.

This card is such a fun card, you know that whoever gets this card will have a smile.  This card also used the new Stampin' Up! Blending Brushes.

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Punch Party (155300)

• INK – Flirty Flamingo (147052), Basic Grey (149165)

• OTHER – Paper Trimmer (152392), Opal Rounds (154289), Stamp Cut Emboss Machine (159653), Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690), Take Your Pick Tool (144107), Bone Folder (102300), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Heart Punch Pack (151292), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (146912), Paper Snips (103579)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Flirty Flamingo cardstock 4 ¼” x 11” scored at 5 ½” Fold with Bone folder to crease with bone folder.

• 
  

• Basic Black 4 x 5 /14” cut 1

• Cut Flower and Field Stripe DSP 3 ¾” x 5”

• Die cut the scalloped rectangle floral piece

• Die cut a Flirty Flamingo die cut.

• Cut a Whisper White 4 x 5 ¼” for inside card.

Instructions:

• Stamp in Basic Grey heart and stamp the Flirty Flamingo saying inside the stamped heart. Punch out the heart using the scalloped heart punch.

• Adhere the Basic Black to the Flirty Flamingo card base and then top with the DSP in the stripe pattern using Stampin Seal.

• Add the scalloped rectangle die cut to the card using Stampin Dimensionals.

• Next pop the punched out heart off the Flirty Flamingo Die Cut with Stampin Dimensionals.

• Using Stampin Seal stick the die cut to the scalloped rectangle.

• Use the Take Your Pick tool to place 2 opal rounds on each side of the die cut.

• Tie a bow with the Polka Dot Scallop Ribbon and adhere to the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

• Using Stampin Seal place the 4 x 5 ¼” Basic White inside the card and stamp your greeting.

• Attach a piece of the DSP to the envelope flat and trim around. Using Stampin Seal or your multipurpose glue. Trim with paper snips.

• Enjoy!

January Technique Class - Retro Circles

 We had to wait a little bit to have our January class, our location owner was on vacation; I am so jealous!!  But the cards that were part of our January Technique Class was definitely worth the wait. Retro Circles are very popular right now, it's a great way to show off your Designer Series Paper with this retro style. You just need 3 circles in different sizes to complete this design.

 Card #1 - Happy Birthday

INK: Calypso Coral, Memento Black

PAPER: Coastal Cabana Base, Calypso Coral Layer, Whisper White, Flower & Field DSP

Card #2 - Thank You

Project Recipe:

STAMP SETS: Dragonfly Garden

INK: Rich Razzelberry, Misty Moonlight

PAPER: Misty Moonlight Base, Rich Razzelberry Layer, Whisper White, Dandy Garden DSP

ACCESSORIES: Bumble Bee Enamel Gems

Here are the basic measurements:

Main Card – 5 ½ x 8 ½

Neutral Layer – 3 ½ x 4 ¾

Greeting Strip – ½ x 5

Circles are 1 ¾ , 2 3/8 & 2 7/8

Cut Circles in half, layer circles off center on top of each other. Measure/Mark the center of the Neutral Layer 1 ¾”; Lay out circles then glue down.

Card #3 - Fancy Fold Book Fold

 The January Stamp of the Month cards was so much fun, I really enjoyed creating using the Forever & Always stamp set and the matching Always Dies.  I came up with four beautiful cards that I want to share with you.

Card #1 - Sent with Love

Card #3 - Love You Always
