Saturday Spotlight Stamper - Bernice Seidl

Today's Spotlight Stamper is a dear friend, she always has a card or two to share with me. I always like receiving cards like these, they give me inspiration.

Looks Bernie had some fun with the Pansy Patch stamp set that is brand new!!  You can find it in the new Annual Stampin' Up! catalog, page 29.

Here are two more very very pretty cards, the Quite Curvy stamp set can be used in a number of ways. Always a different look.

Stampin' Up! Tip - CASE

In CASE of Emergency
CASEing means Copy and Share Everything, but it also means “sanity saver” on days when you desperately want to create something handmade but don’t have the time (or the energy) to brainstorm.
If you’re having a papercrafting emergency, this is our tried-and-true method for achieving immediate relief. Look through the catalog, find a project you love, then . . .
  1. Copy the layout.
  2. Copy the color scheme.
  3. Copy the technique.
Whatever you do, copy SOMETHING and you will be well on your way to making a project that you can proudly share.
We CASEd the pretty layout for the Bamboo card and added fussy-cut bamboo stems for an eye-catching focal point. Simple, yet lovely.
To create the Danke card, we borrowed the Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, and Polished Pink color combo. (Pro tip: Always keep a list of favorite color combos on hand—in CASE of emergency.) Additional tip: Stamp the flower in Polished Pink ink, then use a light Stampin’ Blend of the same color to add dimension to the flower petals, leaving the edges white.
For the Coucou bonheur card, our concept artist CASEd a terrific technique: She inked up the Brilliant Wings Dies with light and dark Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends to fashion richly hued butterfly wings. Gorgeous!
We’d love to hear your CASEing success stories, so remember to share them on social media!

Hello!

I wanted to share with you a card that I created using the new stamp set Beauty of Friendship. Beauty of Friendship is part of the Beauty of the Earth Suite found on Page 10 and Page 11 of the new 2021-22 Stampin' Up! Catalog. With beautiful Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Papers and the Beauty of Friendship Bundle which includes the Beautiful Trees Dies, I am looking forward to making some beautiful cards.

Here is a close up of the card that I made for a swap that I am in.

Project Recipe:

STAMP SETS: Beauty of Friendship (Page 11)

INK: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow

PAPER: Old Olive Base, Misty Moonlight Layer, Beauty of the Earth DSP, White Scrap

ACCESSORIES: Beautiful Trees Dies, Layering Circles, Dimensionals, Elegant Faceted Gems

LINK:   All Products in My Store

NOTE:  The above link will take you right to my store and give you the supply list.

I found that when I got ready to use the Layering Circles, I cut the scallop circle from the Misty Moonlight layer by placing the die right in the middle of the layer.  I knew that the Beauty of the Earth DSP would cover up the hold I was creating. I did the same thing with the Beauty of the Earth DSP. It worked perfectly!
