Saturday Spotlight Stamper - Deb Vine

 This week, our Saturday Spotlight Stamper is our own Debbie Vine.  Deb always surprises me with a collection of cards to share with you all, I love it.

A favorite stamp set was the Vine Design, one of my favorite stamp sets!
The coordinating dies called Flowering Vine Dies to the Vine Design stamp set is a must have.

Hydrangea Haven paired up with Hydrangea Designer Series Paper is a sure hit!

Facebook Live Replay - Biggest Wish

 Today is my Facebook Live Replay and I hope that you are visiting here to stay!  Just subscribe to my blog, I share a lot of tips, cards and not just my cards!  I also have added a "Shopping List" to my cards, so that if you are interested in making the card for your very own, just click on the Shopping List and it will take you right to my store.  I will also start offering more directions, dimensions and details of the cards. How neat is that?!!

Wednesday Wow - Hippo Happiness

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

  • STAMPS – Hippo Happiness (158289)

  • PAPER –Polished Pink Cardstock (155710), Gorgeous Grape (146987), Basic White (159276), Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (DSP) (155807), Rainbow Glimmer Paper (153056)

  • INK – Polished Pink (155712), Gorgeous Grape (147099), Crushed Curry (147087), Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)

  • OTHER – Hippo & Friends Dies (153585), Tailor Made Tags Dies (155563), Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (152718), 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (155571), Polished Pink 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon (155714), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Cutting & Scoring:

  • Polished Pink Card Stock – 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" – scored @ 4 1/4", 1 3/8” x 5 1/4", scrap

  • Gorgeous Grape Card Stock – 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”, 1 9/16” x 5 1/4"

  • Rainbow Glimmer Paper – 3 scraps

  • Basic White – 5 1/4" x 4

  • Pansy Petals DSP – 5 1/4" x 4”

Instructions:

  • Fold & burnish the Polished Pink cardstock along 4 1/4” score line.

  • Adhere the Pansy Petals DSP to the Gorgeous Grape cardstock using liquid glue.

  • Adhere this layer to the card base using liquid glue.

  • Using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, emboss the strip of Polished Pink cardstock.

  • Using liquid glue, adhere embossed piece to the strip of Gorgeous Grape cardstock.

  • Adhere this strip to the card front.

  • Using the 2nd smallest Tailor Made Tags die, die cut 3 tags from the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.

  • Die cut 3 unicorn “horns” from remaining scraps of Rainbow Glimmer Paper.

  • Using Polished Pink ink pad, stamp the hippo on Basic White cardstock scrap. Stamp off once with the full stamp and then stamp full strength with the partial hippo stamp.

  • Using Crushed Curry ink pad, stamp the lamb on Basic White cardstock scrap. Stamp off once with the full stamp and then stamp full strength with the partial lamb stamp.

  • Using Gorgeous Grape ink pad, stamp the unicorn on Basic White cardstock scrap. Stamp off once with the full stamp and then stamp full strength with the partial unicorn stamp.

  • Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad, stamp corresponding facial details on hippo, lamb and unicorn.

  • Using Hippo & Friends dies, die cut each animal image.

  • Attach unicorn “horn” to each animal.

  • Adhere each animal to a Tailor Made tag, using liquid glue.

  • Cut (3) 4” strips of ribbon and tie one to each Tailor Made tag.

  • Adhere each tag to card front using dimensionals.

  • Using the smallest label die from the Hippo & Friends die set, die cut a label from Polished Pink scrap.

  • Stamp sentiment on label, using Gorgeous Grape ink pad.

  • Adhere the label to card front using dimensional and liquid glue.

  • Add Polished Pink In-Color Jewels between tags.

  • Using Polished Pink and Gorgeous Grapes ink pads on an alternating basis, stamp butterflies along lower edge of 5 1/4" x 4 Basic White cardstock.

  • Adhere to inside of card, using liquid glue.

Forever and Always

 We were invited to a wedding coming up in June, so I turned to the Forever Fern stamp set, I knew it would be just perfect.

The colors for the wedding is in the Soft Succulent range, I paired it with Mint Macaron and Rich Razzelberry. The white on white, along with 3 different embossing folders made this card complete. Congratulations Dustin & Korrie!
