Saturday Spotlight Stamper - Debbie Vine

When it is too hot to be outside because it is hot and humid, why not do some stamping?!  That is exactly what Deb Vine has been up to.  I am happy to share her cards with you today.  I hope that you find some inspiration in your own card making.

From Color & Contours to Shaded Summer, and also Beautiful Moments, card making has never been easier.  You can become an artist so easily.

If you didn't know what to do with the Biggest Wish stamp set, just pair it with Penned Flowers to great a beautiful Friend card.

Deb tackled the alcohol markers and ink technique and came up with these beautiful cards.  Show casing the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle and the Quiet Meadow Bundles.

Z Fold Card Contest

Facebook Live Replay - Best Chapter

 Happy Thursday and Facebook Live Replay!  I am happy to replay this Facebook Live with you this week as I had a special surprise to share with you. You will have to watch the video to find out what the surprise was.  My stamp set of the week is called Best Chapter and while it might not be the most popular stamp set in the Stampin' Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, it is still a stamp set that would benefit everyone's collection.

Here is a closeup of the card, this card would work great as a graduation card, new job or even as new parents.

INK: Bermuda Bay

PAPER: Bermuda Bay Base, Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper Layer, Basic White

Wednesday Wow - Blending Color & Contour

 Blending Color & Contour

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Color & Contour (154994), Bundle & Save (158356)

• PAPER – Pale Papaya (155668), Basic White (159276), Vellum (101856)

• INK – Polished Pink (155713), Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)

• OTHER – Scalloped Contours Dies (155560), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), 3/8” Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon (155672), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Gilded Leafing (154560), Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends (155519), Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends (155520), Stampin’ Seal (152813), Water Painters (151298), High % Rubbing Alcohol

Cutting & Scoring:

• Pale Papaya 8 ½” x 5 ½” score at 4 1/4”

• Basic White 5” x 4” for die

• Vellum 4 ½” x 5 ½”

Instructions:

• Fold card base on score line.

• Take Vellum and randomly color Dark Polished Pink Stampin Blends, and Dark Pale Papaya Stampin Blends all over keeping colors slightly apart.

• Fill Rubbing Alcohol in wide Water Painter, squeeze the tip till its flooded with alcohol and start tapping into one color at a time to achieve blending effect of alcohol and ink, set aside and let dry.

• Die cut the Scalloped Contour 3^rd Die on Basic White through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.

• Stamp flower on Basic White Scallop in Memento Black Ink, stamp flowers in Polished Pink ink.

• With Pale Papaya Ribbon tie bow around Scallop down by stem of flower.

• Now that the Vellum is dry take Liquid glue lightly make then lines between colors of Pale Papaya and Polished Pink let dry a few seconds till glue turns clear.

• Add Gilded Leafing and brush off excess leafing.

• Cut Vellum down to 4 ¼” x 5 ¼”, then attach with Stampin Seal to cardbase.

• Apply Stampin’ Dimensionals, to the Scallop and add to center left of card front

• ENJOY!!

Turtle Friends Birthday

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Turtle Friends (155356)

• PAPER – Sahara Sand (121043), Evening Evergreen (155574), Basic White (159276)

• INK – Evening Evergreen (155576), Old Olive (147090)

• OTHER – Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Turtle Punch (155372), Scalloped Contours Dies (155560), Stitched with Whimsey Dies (155314), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430), Genial Gems (155500), Stampin' Blends Mossy Meadow (154890)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Sahara Sand 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”

• Evening Evergreen 4” x 5 ¼”

• Basic White 3” x 4”

• White Scraps

Instructions:

• Using the Scalloped Contours Dies, cut out the White piece for the front of the card.

• Stamp the grass in Old Olive across the bottom of the white piece.

• Stamp the turtles on the White scraps in Evening Evergreen, punch out larger turnle. Cut out the little turtle. Stamp the body of the turtles in Evening Evergreen.

• Color the rest of the turtles with Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends.

• Using the Stitched with Whimsey Dies, cut the Evening Evergreen piece, adhere to the front of the card as a layer.

• Stamp Happy Birthday in Evening Evergreen across the top, bottom and sides. I layed the Scalloped White piece in the center as a guide.

• Adhere the Scalloped White piece to the center of the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere the large Turtle to the front of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere the little Turtle on top of the large Turtle using Stampin' Dimensionals.

• Stamp a card verse on the inside of the card, to finish the card.

• Enjoy!

My Busy Stamper!

 My busy stamper spent the day with me last week, she had to do some stamping for her fair projects.  The theme was birthday cards.

Andi is a good stamper, she takes her time and is careful with grandma's stamps!

She actually enjoys stamping with me, I always look forward to her spending the day with me.

Here is one of her cards, she used the new Penguin Place from the upcoming July-December Mini Catalog and turned it into a birthday card.  Cutting the penguins out was a snap as it has a coordinating punch!

Using Turtle Friends, here was the next birthday card that she made, again the cutting out the turtle was easy with the matching punch.

Look at how neat her work area is?!!  Mine didn't look like that at all!  LOL!!
