Kissing Technique Class was Great!!

Monday, we had our Technique Class and the new technique was "Kissing".  You use a solid stamp and ink it up in a lighter color then take a patterned stamp and ink that up in a darker color, kiss the two stamps together and then stamp on your cardstock.  The cards turned out great, here is what we made:
Our Butterfly card featured the Stampin' Up! stampset, "Flight of the Butterly."  The cardstock is Melon Mambo, Pear Pizazz, Island Indigo, Whisper White and the Designer Series paper Twitterpated from the all new Occassions Mini Catolog that just came out!!  The Twitterpated butons and Bakers Twine in Lucky Limeade finished up the card.  I must say I think it so cute!!

The second card featured the Stampin' Up! stamp set, "Fabulous Florets."  We used Rich Razzelberry cardstock as our base, Old Olive, Basic Grey and Designer Series Paper Twitterpated for our background.  The flowers were stamped off once or twice and created a more 3-D flower, one flower was cut out and attached with a dimension.  The Pleated Satin Ribbon in Blushing Bride completed the card and made quite an elegant card when we were done.

Our last card was our fancy fold card that is a Tri-Fold Card, and a Valentine's card.

I must say that the class was alot of fun and we had a great time making some great cards!  We have some fabulous ladies attending and I am looking forward to next month's Technique class.  The class will be February 13 and our new technique will be....................

Dryer Sheets Technique

So mark your calendars and think about our joining us in Neillsville when we make three more great cards!
If you can't make the class, I do sell the cards in a kit for you to complete on your own.

Take care, and as always, thanks for stopping in.
