My Christmas Message

Merry Christmas to all my family and friends.  I am so happy to reflect on 2014, almost sad to see it leave in just about a week.  Alot of camping and fishing, alot of stamping and classes to get ready for, and you know I wouldn't have it any other way!!

So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

I want to share with you some cards and emails that I have received, it just made me feel so wonderful to get these great cards and receive these wonderful emails!

Tammy shared with me her Christmas presents that she made, each envelope that is wrapped with burlap ribbon and adorned with berries and pine cones hold cards that can be sent by the receiver.  What a great idea!
Thank you for the lovely Christmas Card, Arlys; it is just lovely!  She used the stamp set Bright and Beautiful and the coordinating die.  This stamp set has been carried over, I am so glad!!
Thank you also, Sandy for this lovely card using Ornamental Pine stamp set.

I have gotten so many nice emails this year, compliments on the cards that we have made in class; it just makes me so happy that I am sharing what I love to do!  After the holidays I will be sending out the January class invite, class will be Monday, January 12 and Wednesday, January 14.  We will be able to order from the Occasions Mini Catalog and the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  How fun!!

Take care, drive safely and enjoy the holidays!

December 2014 Technique - Glitter Window Card

Our class this month made Glitter Window Cards, I think I surprised a few ladies at how easy this great technique is.  This technique I learnt years ago from my upline, in fact, it was the first technique that I learnt.  Who knew that simple packing tape and some Stampin' Up! Dazzling Diamonds could make such beautiful cards!!

This is a quick and easy technique for a sparkly card. Punch one or more windows into your cardstock. Lay Window cardstock over neutral cardstock, flip punched cardstock over and lay packing tape on backside with sticky side showing to the front. Sprinkle sticky side with Glitter.

AND HERE ARE THE CARDS!!

Card 1 – Glitter Christmas Tree
Stamp Sets:  Festival of Trees, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink:  Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler
Paper:  Real Red Base 5 ½ x 8 ½, Garden Green Layer 5 ¼ x 4, Whisper White 4 ¾ x 3 ¾
Accessories: Jewels, Dimensions, Packing Tape, Dazzling Diamonds, On Point Embossing Folder

Card 2 – Glitter Christmas Star
Stamp Sets:  Bright & Beautiful
Ink:  Lost Lagoon, Basic Grey, Smokey Slate
Paper:  Smokey Slate Bs 5 ½ x 8 ½, Whisper White Layer 5 ¼ x 4, Whisper White Stars & Inside 3 x 3, 4 x 4 ¼, 4 x 5 ¼
Accessories:  Lost Lagoon taffeta Ribbon, glue Dots, Star Framelits, Dimensions, Filigree Frame Embossing Folder, Packing Tape, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

Here is our Fancy Project using the Curvy Keepsake Die, aren't they cute?!  They are just big enough to put some candy, a pair of earrings or a little toy.  I just love how they turned out.

Fancy Project – Santa & Snowman Curvy Keepsake Box
Stamp Sets: None
Ink:  Real Red, Basic Black
Paper:  Santa – 8 ½ x 6 ¼ Real Red, Black & Gold Scraps
Snowman – 8 ½ x 6 ¼ Whisper White, Black Scraps
Accessories:  Curly Label, Small Curly Label, 3/8” Circle, Little Scallop Punches

And there you have it, another great class!  Watch for our January class coming up Monday,

January 12 or Wednesday, January 14 at Apple Valley Bar & Grill.  The technique will be

Shaker Card Technique.  I just want to say, it isn't made the way the "traditional" shaker

cards are made.  You are going to love it!!

Take care,

Cindy
