Paws for You

Hello Everyone, I made this card some time ago and I think I forgot to post it. I know right, hard to believe!!

Isn't this card too cute?!!  But then I am a beagle mom and I love my beagles that is a definite!

Stamp Set:  Happy Tails (Occasions #148682)
Ink:  Early Espresso, Real Red, Sahara Sand
Paper:  Early Espresso Base, Sahara Sand Layer, Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Dimensions, Dog Builder Punch


Here are a couple pictures of my boys. We just got the Chocolate Beagle Tanner, he is 3 months old right now and growing so fast, I can't believe it.

 Here is a picture of Tanner sleeping with our old beagle Teddy, they have become pretty tight buddies.  Teddy not only plays with Tanner, but he also protects him just like a big brother!

One Design, All the Same?! Not!!

I was in need of some Thank You cards and came up with a design that I liked. What happened next you ask?  One Design, All the Same?! Not!!  Many times you can come up with a design for a card, but if you use different Designer Series Paper or different stamps, the cards look totally different.

See what I mean?  One Design, but definitely Not All the Same!!
I also wanted to use up some Designer Series Paper, so this is where the difference came in; that and the colors of the card base and the butterflies.

 Using the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper, made for some beautiful cards I think.

Veterans Card Request

I recently had a request for some Patriotic cards for the Veterans Honor Flight. I didn't know much about it and didn't really know what they were requesting. The Veterans Honor Flight flies veterans to Washington D.C. to view the different military memorials and then returns back to Wisconsin. When they touch down and as they are getting off of the plane, there is a roll call and each veteran is given a card. 

I decided that I wanted to share this request with all of you, not just my current customers but anyone that is reads my blog and keeps up with it.



Watch my video to get all of the details, I am sure that you will want to help me in honoring the veterans. Leave me a comment if you would like my address.  

Here are the instructions:
*Create a Thank You card for our Veterans. It has to be a Thank You card.
*Use Red, White and Blue colors for your card. Even if you do not own a Patriotic stamp there are so many ideas on Pinterest that can help you.
*Stamp a verse of thanks on the inside of the card, BUT do not sign it. 
*You do not need an extra envelope, just send it to me and I will make sure it gets to where it is going.

Wednesday Wow! - Lovely Lattice

Amazing Lovely Lattice

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:
  • STAMPS – Lovely Lattice (cling 149730), Incredible Like You (photopolymer 148708)
  • PAPER – Thick Whisper White (140272), Basic Black (121045), Shimmery White (101910)
  • INK – Highland Heather (147103)
  • OTHER – Frost White Shimmer Paint (147046), Stampin’ Spritzer (126185), Paper Snips (103579), Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs – Petal Pink (147272), Granny Apple Green (147274), Highland Heather (147276), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Rubbing Alcohol
Cutting & Scoring:
  • Thick Whisper White – 11” x 4-1/4”, score and fold at 5-1/2”
  • Basic Black – 3-1/2” x 4”
  • Shimmery White – 3-1/2” x 4” scrap paper
Instructions:
  • Stamp the sentiment in Highland Heather ink on the bottom right of the card base.
  • Fill the Stampin’ Spritzer ¾ full of rubbing Alcohol. Add 2-3 drops of Frost White Shimmer Paint. Shake to mix. Spray the Basic Black cardstock layer till completely covered. Set aside to dry.
  • Stamp the Lovely Lattice image on the Shimmery White cardstock scrap paper in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • Using the Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs, color in the image.
  • Fussy cut the image out.
  • Attach the Basic Black layer to the card base.
  • Attach the Lovely Lattice image to the Basic Black layer using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Enjoy!

You Are Pretty Much the Best!

Have you ever told someone that that?  I know that I have on more than one on occasion, that is why I couldn't wait to create a card using the All Adorned stamp set from Stampin' Up!  This stamp set is also FREE, that's right it is a Sale a Bration stamp set (#149728) from the second listing of SAB item.

I also decided that it was time to start recording more videos and decided to try a You Tube live as it might be a lot easier than Facebook, the only problem is that I have to be certified first. So my first video is not live but I wanted to post it anyway. There is the problem of it being sideways, but it was not bad.

My first Stamping Tip is the Stamparatus, I want to show you how easy it is to use. Just by experimenting I found that there are so many ways that you can use this tool for perfect placement.

Ink:  Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Memento Black
Paper:  Balmy Blue Base, Granny Apple Green Layer, Whisper White
Accessories:  Stamparatus, Granny Apple Green Organdy Ribbon
