Classic Quit Card

Now check out this card!! Is it not the prettiest card that you ever saw?! Its a classic. Now I would love to take credit for creating this lovely card but I can't. I also subscribe to other blogs and found this lovely card on "Stampin With Di". I thought that her card was just fabous and I just had to CASE it. In case you didn't know CASE means Copy and Share with Everyone. And thats just what I did. This card looks like it took alot of time to make, but it didn't!

Isn't it fabulous?? I plan to take this card with me on vacation, I got a feeling that I am going to need a couple of "Thank You" cards for my family and who knows who else!!

Now to make this card for your very own, all I did was look through my Designer Series paper for scraps and cut out 12 1 1/2" squares using my Stampin' Up 1 1/4" punch. Arranged them in 3 rolls of 4 squares to a row. Next I used my adhesive and stuck them to a 5"x4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Next run this through your Big Shot or Cuddlebug using the Top Note Due. I also took my black journaler pen and drew on the "x" to make it look like stiching. Sponge alittle ink (I used Pale Plum) around the edges and adher to a piece of Piroquette Pink cardstock. Almost done, stay with me now, I then placed this piece into my Swirl folder for my Cuddlebug and ran it through, hense the quited look. Pretty clever wasn't it, no I didn't think of that part either! I stamped the thank you in Pale Plum on Whisper White cardstock and used my Curly Label Punch to punch it out, attached a flower with a silver brad and then adhered that to my quit. I then adherred all to my card which is in Pale Plum. And thats it, card is done!!

Lovely as A Tree

When you live in Northern Wisconsin, you see alot of days like this one, with the sun playing on the snow, making it sparkle. I needed a sympathy card and decided to do the Polish Stone Technique, since we just used this technique at our stamp camp. I used Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue cardstock, Pale Pink and Stampin' Up! retired designer paper. Some silver cord to cordinate with the silver thats in the card and it was all done. Very simple and quick.
Now that I do more stamping for myself than to sell, I am experimenting more. Still enjoying it and so glad that I can share it with all of you. Thanks for stoping by.

Stamp Camp Card #5 - Celebrate

I can't remember what this card was called but its like an accordian card and it pulls out. Super simple and really different. I have seen this card made using all different stamp sets and its really a great card and takes hardly any time at all to make.
We used Stampin' Up! Celebrate stamp set, along with both of the Stampin' Up! big Star and little Star. We rolled Real Red onto Kraft cardstock.
I think that this card would made not only a great birthday card but also a great graduation card. You could even change the colors to match the colors to the graduates school. How neat is that?!
Well that is it for the cards from our Stamp Camp, I hope that you enjoyed them.

Stamp Camp Card #4 - Deer in the Wild

Now isn't this a cool card for a man?! This technique is called Polish

Stone, we used reinkers in Pacific Point and Alcohol, I have used rubbing Alchol and it does work, you don't need alot on your cotton ball. Then put 3 dots of reinker and 3 dots of silver reinker on the ball and dab the cotton ball on glossy cardstock to create a shimmery effect. We then stamped our image, in this case we used Stampin' Up! Nature Sillhouette in black Stazon. Our cardstock is Baha Breeze and Pacific Point.

Baha Breeze and Pacific Point are two new in-colors for 2009 in the Stampin' Up! catolog. Can't you see the possibilities with this card, you could use any solid image and different colors to make a really neat card.

Stamp Camp Card #3 - Thank You

I hope you are not too disappointed but I had to use my scanner to get the images of the cards, for some reason my camera is acting up. Not sure what that is all about but it better not die on my completely as I am going on vacation soon and I want to have it along.
Anyway, this is the third card that we made at our Stamp Camp, just a simple thank you using the Big Shot Top Note die and our new designer paper from the Sale A-Bration mini catolog Delicate Dots. It also uses the stamp set Yummy which is also from the Sale A-Bration mini catolog. These sets are not for sale, they are FREE!! Just place a $50 order and you can pick one of these FREE, did I say FREE??!!

Stamp Camp Card #2 - Girly Girly

This was the second card that we made, it was definitely a challenge but it really turned out to be a wonderful card. Its called a "secret reveal" card. When you open it, a different picture slides into the hole reavealing a different picture all together. Notice on the first card, the hole shows purses, then in the next picture when you open the card it reveals a poodle with the saying "like you" stamped over the poodle. Pretty neat huh?!

We used Stampin' Up! Pink Passion cardstock and ink. Then used
the new Stampin' Up! scallop edge punch and our new eyelet edge punch. By punching both sides of the paper we were able to create ric-rac! Remember that from when you had to sew in Home Ec class? Well maybe your not that old but I do!
The sentiment for this card and is part of the stamp set Classy & Fabulous. This is definitely a "Girly" card, but I like it!

Stamp Camp Cards

I totally forgot to post the cards that we made at our stamp camp last weekend. My friend/upline Kelly and I hosted the workshop to a dozen ladies. We had a great time and made some terrific cards. Also please note, that this card is really straight, camera was being naughty so I scanned the card.

This card uses the Stampin' Up! Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set, Raspberry Tart Designer paper (don't you just love that paper?) Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon, Regal Rose and Pink Passion cardstock. We also used the Chunky Sprinkles glitter for the frosting of the cupcakes. I had never used that kind of glitter before but it is wonderful, I just LOVE it! It really sparkles and its so pretty.

The verse for the inside of the card is: "hope your day is the sweetest ever!"
