Remembering You're Inspiring

I have been busy the last couple of days so I missed Friday somehow but let's get back on track with our remember stamp sets that are retiring in just 13 days!!

The stamp set that we are fondly remembering today is You're Inspiring and was the Stamp of the Month back in February, 2018.  Remember I have a really neat feature to my blog, just scroll down on the right hand side to the "Search This Blog" space and enter the name of the stamp set that you are searching for, it will come right up if I have ever made and posted a card with it.

May Stamp of the Month Results

Every month my stamping ladies vote on their favorite stamp set from three that I suggest. I am happy to say that the May Stamp of the Month is the Butterfly Gala.  This versatile and lovely stamp set can be located on Page 35 of the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog. What is even better is that there is a matching punch called the Butterfly Duet Punch.

Here is how it now works once the Stamp of the Month has been decided.  If you would like to participate, there are two easy steps for you to follow.

For just the Stamp set and everything that you need to make 4 cards, the cost is $24.  If you would like the punch along with the stamp set, then the cost would be $40.62 AND that would include everything to make the 4 cards FREE. 

If you are interested in participating, here are the two easy steps:

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Hold On To Hope (145780 clear, 145776 wood),
• PAPER – Very Vanilla Cardstock (101650), Petal Pink Cardstock (146985), Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper (146907), Gold Foil Sheets (132622)
• INK – Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad (147108)
• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Cross of Hope Framelits (145654), Subtle Embossing Folder (143706), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Fine-Tip Glue Pen (138309)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Very Vanilla 11” x 4-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2”
• Petal Pink 3-3/4” x 5-1/4”

• Oval cut from Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper 3-1/2” x 5”

Instructions:

• Fold Very Vanilla cardstock on the score line.
• Emboss Petal Pink cardstock using the Subtle Embossing Folder and Big Shot.
• Cut the oval design from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty paper to 3-1/2”x5”. Adhere to the Petal Pink layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
• Cut the cross from the Cross of Hope Framelits and the Gold Foil Sheet. Adhere to the Petal Pink Layer centered in the oval frame.
• Stamp sentiment from Hold On To Hope Stamp set on scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and cut using the banner framelit from the Cross of Hope Framelits. Adhere to bottom of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Adhere completed layer to Very Vanilla card base.

May Kit Class Invite

Have you ever wanted to just stamp?!!  Well the Kit Class is just that, simple stamping, great cards and good friends!  We get together the last Tuesday of the Month at Schmittys on Main in Neillsville.  I supply everything that you need to make 15, 10 or 5 beautiful cards with envelopes.  There are 5 designs, you either make them 3 times = 15 cards, or 2 times = 10 cards or 1 time = 5 cards. They are seasonal and I always offer a nice variety, a lot of the cards you can make into the type of card that you need!!

Kit Card Class

Here are the details for my next class:

Card Kit Class - Everything that you will need to make 15 cards with envelopes. Don’t be Overwhelmed at making 15 cards! Make 10 cards (2 each of 5 Designs for $10) or make 5 cards (1 each of 5 Designs for $5). The cards are easy, so join the fun!!

Remembering Lovely as a Tree

When I started stamping nine years ago, Lovely as a Tree was one of the first stamp sets that I purchased. In fact, all these years later it is the only stamp set that I own that was current and still on wooden blocks, so it was pretty easy to find.

Over the years, I have used Lovely as a Tree quite often for Technique Class or Kit Class, it has always been so versatile. You could use it for masculine, sympathy or even Christmas cards quite easily.  I will keep the stamp set, it has become an old friend, and I will be sorry to see it retire. It was the oldest stamp set that we had in the catalog, debuting in 2001.  There is still time, place an order for this beauty before June 2nd, use my Host Code of BQNWZ3WJ if your order is under $150.

My Spotlight Stamper Today is Donnella Maynard

Hi Everyone, thank you so much for stopping in today. My Spotlight Stamper today is Donnella Maynard. She is not new to Stampin' Up! and joined our Technique Class group about two years ago.  We are so glad that she decided to join us.
