New Suite from Stampin' Up! - Pressed Petals

Let's take a look at another beautiful suite of products from Stampin' Up! It is called Pressed Petals and it really caught my eye. It is just a beautiful stamp set and is quite versatile. This is a stamp set that you are going to want to add to your collection.

Here is a short video from Stampin' Up! If you love flowers, you are going to love this great set with all of its sentiments to make it your "go to" set this summer.

It's Here!! New Annual Stampin' up! Catalog is Here!

The new Annual Stampin' Up! Catalog is here and I think that it is beautiful!! While I have a few stamp sets with the preorder that only SU Demonstrators can get early, I am also waiting for my "big" order that won't be here until sometime next week.

Creativity is Calling with Stampin' Up! Let's watch a short video featuring the new stamp set and dies, Magnolia Lane Card Pack Bundle, complete with matching Designer Series Paper.

Wednesday Wow! - Free as a Bird Friendship

STAMPS – Free As A Bird (149468 Cling)
PAPER – Whisper White (100730), Calypso Coral (122925), Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP) (149592)
INK – Calypso Coral (126983), Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends-Dark (144581)
OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (145372), Banner Triple Punch (138292), Flax Ribbon 5/8” Whisper White (148764), Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (147801), Snail Adhesive (104332), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)

Cutting & Scoring:

Whisper White - 11” x 4-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2”, scrap
Calypso Coral - 4” x 5-1/4”
Bird Ballad DSP - 1-3/4” x 5” & 2-1/4” x 3-3/4”

Instructions:

Adhere the Calypso Coral layer to the card base.
Crop the end of the strip of DSP that has the birds with the Triple Banner Punch and add where shown. Then layer the other piece of striped DSP over the banner piece.
With the largest Stitched Shapes Circle Framelits die cut the circle out of Whisper White card stock. Stamp the images on the circle.
Cut a 4” piece of Flax Ribbon and color with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend. Adhere across the front of the card using Snail Adhesive.
Adhere the stamped circle die cut with Stampin Dimensionals.
Randomly place three Frosted or Clear Epoxy Droplets on the card.

May Technique Class - Faux Stenciling

I almost forgot to post the May Technique Class cards, we had a great time creating Faux Stenciling for our card backgrounds. Faux Stenciling is a very easy way to create a faux stencil or a false stencil. Using ink and sponge, sponge on ink onto your cardstock. Use a variety of colors. Then adhere the Laser Cut Speciality Paper over the top to finish the look.

Spotlight Stamper - Bernie Seidl

My Spotlight Stamper today is our own Bernie Seidl, Bernie is my right hand helper when it comes to stamping and any special events. She is always willing to volunteer to help. When I mentioned to Bernie that I was thinking of having a New Catalog Open House, yep she said, "I'll help you."

Here are some of the extra cards that she made for the display board. Her cute little "punch art" chickens is so creative with the barn board card base.

Using the Bird Ballad Designer Series Papers make beautiful cards, I am hosting a Paper Share, contact me if you want to get in on it.

Did you see the cow stamp set called Over the Moon in the new catalog, page 32. Now let me tell you that I had no intention of getting this set, but after seeing the cards and 3D projects that Bernie made, I have changed my mind!

We will have other cards using these stamp sets at our Open House, being held at Schmittys on Main in the basement banquet room in Neillsville. Why not stop out and check it out, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
