June Kit Cards & Class to Go!

The cards for the June Kit Card Class and the Class to Go! were a great hit with my stamping ladies.  The simple stamping cards are the most requested, cards that are simple but pretty.  That is exactly what I came up with.

Remember if you ever want to join us, we are always looking for new people to come stamp with us. The Kit Class is a simple stamping class where there are no challenging techniques just simple stamping. Come check us out and make your choice of 5 cards, 10 cards or 15 cards from the kits that I have already made up for you. There are 5 designs and you decide how many times you will make them.  Easy as that!!  The Class to Go! is just as easy with it being 5 cards, everything that you need to make the cards; you just supply the stamps, ink and adhesive.

June Stamp of the Month - Daisy Lane

The stamp set for the June Stamp of the Month is sure to be a classic, it is called Daisy Lane and coordinates with the Medium Daisy Punch and the Large Daisy Punch.

Wednesday Wow - Peacock Adventures

Peacock Adventures

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Royal Peacock Stamp Set (149464 potopolymer),
• PAPER – Noble Peacock Foil Sheets (149495), Old Olive (100702), Whisper White (100730), Whisper White Scrap (100730)
• INK – Old Olive (147090)
• OTHER – Big Shot (143263), Detailed Peacock Dies (149582), Noble Peacock Rhinestones (149494), Stampin Dimensionals (104430), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Tear & Tape Adhesive (138995)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Old Olive 11” x 4-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2”
• Whisper White 5-1/4” x 4”
• Noble Peacock Foil Sheet (Blueberry Bushel 5” x 3-3/4”

Instructions:

• Die cut the Detailed Peacock Die (using the detailed peacock) using Whisper White (as shown in the photo) 3 times in the Big Shot.
• Adhere the 3 Peacock Die cuts on top of each other with Multi Purpose Liquid Glue so they are perfectly aligned to give the peacock more dimension.
• Die cut the Detailed Peacock Die (3 branches), using Old Olive from the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets’.
• Adhere the Whisper White 5-1/4” x 4” piece to the Old Olive base card.
• Adhere the Noble Peacock Foil Sheet (Blueberry Bushel) 5” x 3-3/4” on top of the Whisper White.
• Adhere the stacked Detailed Peacock done in Whisper White on top of the Blueberry Bushel (as shown in the photo).
• Using a scrap of Whisper White stamp the sentiment “Here’s to an exciting future full of new adventures” (from the Royal Peacock Stamp Set) in Old Olive Ink.
• Trim this sentiment to 2-3/8” x 1/2”, rounding the corners.
• Place 2 pieces of Tear & Tape Adhesive in the center of the sentiment leaving room for dimensionals on both ends.
• Remove the paper from the Tear & Tape Adhesive strips and arrange the 6 Old Olive Foil die cut branches (as shown in the photo).
• Add Stampin Dimensionals to both ends of the sentiment and adhere to the card (as shown in the photo).
• Add Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the card (as shown in the photo).

Spotlight Stamper - Judy Vine

My Spotlight Stamper today is our own Judy Vine. Judy shared both of these cards with me, and I have been waiting to share them with you.

Judy used the lovely Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper to complete her cards. She has really enjoyed punching out the butterflies with the Butterfly punch, popping them up with Dimensions for that extra pop!
