Cards for Veterans Reminder

Have you had a chance to make some cards for our Veterans Freedom Flight?  I am collecting cards that will be given to the organization that puts this together. When the plane lands back from Washington D.C., there is a "mail call" and every veteran is given a card.

My goal this time is to collect 100 cards, and we are off to a great start!  I have 25 cards and more on the way!  But I want you to get involved also, make some Red, White & Blue Thank You Cards. No envelopes and keep it simple, that works for us.

Here are the cards that I have made so far:
Here are the cards that Peggy Erickson has made so far, and she just delivered more that I have not taken a picture of yet.

I will be collecting cards until October 31st, so let's stamp!!

Say It With A Card!

Sending cards is what we do, but there are times that I don't always have the right card to send!!  But since I got the Here's a Card Stamp Set, that problem is not so bad!!

Say it with a card
Have you ever had a moment when you didn’t know what to say? The Here’s a Card Stamp Set can help you in any event so if you don’t know what to say, you can give them a card! We’re positive the lucky recipient of your card will love it.
Our samples above show how a casual or avid crafter could coordinate with products from both the annual catalog and the holiday catalog to get cards perfect for any occasion. In our Congratulations card, we combined this stamp set with the Leaf Punch and the Stitched Nested Dies from the annual catalog with the Feels Like Frost designer series paper from the holiday catalog. Our Happy Birthday card features the Balloon Bouquet Punch from the annual catalog and the Brightly Gleaming designer series paper from the holiday catalog. The Hello There card was made with the Stitched Shapes Dies and the Cup of Christmas Stamp Set.
There are so many ways to show someone how much they mean to you, but the Here’s a Card Stamp Set is a great place to start.

Spotlight Stamper Thursday - Bernie Seidl

My Spotlight Stamper this week is our own Bernie Seidl. Bernie shared her cards with me when I was out making some deliveries. As you can see Bernie has already started on her Christmas Cards.

Her first card uses the Snow Front stamp set, found on page 45 of the SU Holiday Catalog. This set is just great and lets you design your own card front by using 17 different stamps.
Have you seen the Designer Series Paper Feels Like Frost found on page 42 of the SU Holiday Catalog, just add a Moose using the Moose Punch and you have a beautiful card.
This card uses the Delicate Ornament Thinlits, with the Turquoise foil paper its a beautiful card.
Here is the card but using white, lovely I would say!

The paper is from the Feels Like Frost Designer Series paper found in the Holiday Catalog. It is a scene on one side and embossed on the other. Kind of hard to decide which side to use.
