Easter is Coming

With Easter Coming up, do you send out Easter Cards?  I know that I never use to but now, I am thinking that maybe I should. I have a lot to be thankful for and a lot of people to be thank for. So this year I am planning to send out more cards for Easter.

Easter Baskets

I made a couple of Easter Baskets this week for two special people in my life. I just love how these little crates turned out. Of course, I made them in their favorite colors and then added what they love to do. I used the background stamp Woodgrain to add the look of wood to my two little crates.

They were so easy to make, I love how they turned out.

 Then I got this picture of two Easter Baskets that Cory Hand made. How cute is this?! Using the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper is such a bonus. Love how they turned out.

Facebook Live Replay - Ornate Style

Monday night was our Weekly Stamping Class on Facebook, the featured stamp set was the new Sneak Peak from Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog that will be coming out very soon.  It is called Ornate Style.

You can get blooming with an exclusive early release from Stampin' Up!

Wednesday Wow - Happy Easter

Happy Easter

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Easter Promise (151544)
• PAPER –Whisper White (100730), So Saffron (105118), Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper (153558)
• INK – Momento Ink Pad (132708)
• OTHER – Die Cutting Machine, Stitched Rectangles Dies (148551), So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Combo (149557), Mango Melody Dark Stampin’ Blend (147944), Granny Apple Green Dark Stampin’ Blend (146877), Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (141897), 5/8” Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (146912), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104490)

Cutting & Scoring:

• So Saffron 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, 2-3/8” x 3-3/4”

• Whisper White 2 @ 4” x 5-1/4” (inside & outside)
• Pleased As Punch DSP 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, 1/2" x 5-1/4” (inside)

Instructions:

• Fold So Saffron in half to make card base.
• Cut out the 5^th largest Stitched Rectangle from one of the Whisper White layers
• Adhere the Pleased As Punch DSP layer to the Whisper White layer that you cut the rectangle out using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
• Wrap the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around this layer and tie a bow.
• Adhere this layer to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Stamp the Easter Greeting and Flower image on the Stitched Rectangle using Momento Ink.
• Color the flowers and stems and petals using the Stampin’ Blends as pictured.
• Add Wink of Stella Glitter over the flowers.
• Adhere this rectangle to the So Saffron rectangle.
• Adhere this to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimesionals as shown.
• Randomly add several Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the front of the card.
• Stamp a greeting on the inside layer of the card.
• Adhere the 1/2" strip of Pleased As Punch DSP to the bottom of the inside layer.
• Adhere to the inside of the card using Multipurposed Liquid Glue.
• Enjoy!

Because all of the restaurants were closed, we had to get creative in having our Kit Class.  I offered the cards as kits, and I was so happy with how well it went over. I will be working on the April Kit Class very soon, and I would like to invite you to participate. Be it in person (if we can) or by kit. It is a lot of fun, and very therapeutic.
