Spotlight Stamper Saturday - Arlys Knoop

I have some great Fancy Fold cards to show you today, from our own Arlys Knoop. Arlys has been stamping with me from the very beginning and was the one to talk me into doing classes in the Neillsville area. She just sent me this photo of her fancy fold cards, they are just beautiful.

Feature Friday - Forever Greenery Suite

Facebook Live Replay - Lovely You

This week's Facebook Live was all about the new Lovely You stamp set from the new Annual Stampin' Up! catalog. This lovely word stamp set with some flower and leaf accents has great sayings and I really enjoy the font.

INK: Basic Gray

Wednesday Wow - Positive Thoughts

· scrap

· INK – Real Red (147084), Pear Pizzazz (147104), Coastal Cabana (147097), Soft Suede

· (147115), Daffodil Delight (147094), Memento Black (132708)

· OTHER – 3/8” Real Red Ribbon (151155), Nature's Thoughts Dies (153586), Mini Glue · Dots

· (103683), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Dimensionals (104430)

Cutting & Scoring:

· Real Red 8-1/2” x 5-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” (card base)

· Basic Black 4” x 5-1/4” (2)

· Whisper White 3-3/4” x 5” (2)

Instructions:

· Stamp images on 3-3/4” x 5” Whisper White cardstock

· On Whisper White scrap, stamp butterfly in Soft Suede ink, highlight wings with Daffodil

· Delight ink

· Die cut butterfly using Nature’s Thoughts Dies

· Adhere butterfly with 1 dimensional placed under wings (cut 1 in half or use 2 minis)

· Adhere stamped Whisper White layer to Basic Black layer

· Add 3/8” Real Red ribbon

· Tie bow with 3/8” Real Red ribbon and add to ribbon strip

· Add Glue Dot under ribbon to secure to card base

· Adhere Basic Black layer to card base (use Multipurpose Liquid Glue)

· Adhere remaining Whisper White Cardstock to remaining Basic Black cardstock

· and adhere to inside of card

· Stamp Desired sentiment inside card

· Enjoy!

June Technique Cards - Scrappy Strips

I have a fun technique to share with you today, we just had our first in person technique class in Neillsville in three months. It was so wonderful to see everyone, I just can't put it into words.No two backgrounds are alike, what a great way to use up those scraps.

Our June technique is called Scrappy Strips Technique, it is a wonderful way to use up those scrap strips of Designer Series Paper to make a different and very pretty background. We cut the strips into triangles and then arranged the DSP triangles on a 4" x 5" piece of cardstock, alternating the pointed and straight ends leaving about a 1/16" gap between them.

Card #1 - So Grateful

STAMP SET:  Ornate Thanks, Lovely You (Inside)
INK:  Memento Black
PAPER:  Flirty Flamingo Base, Basic Black Layer, Ornate DSP Strips, Whisper White (Inside)
ACCESSORIES:  Black Gems, Dimensions

Card #2 - Just Because

STAMP SET:  Jar of Flowers
INK:  Memento Black, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue
PAPER:  Misty Moonlight Base, Smokey Slate Layer, 20-22 In Color Misty Moonlight DSP, Whisper White (Inside) & Scraps
ACCESSORIES:  Dimensions, Jar Pun ch

Card #3 - Celebrate You (Z Fancy Fold)

STAMP SET:  Celebrate Sunflowers
INK:  Early Espresso, Memento Black

Special Stampers

This past week I had two special stampers, it is always so much fun to see the grand kids, but when they get to stay for a bit, it is extra special.  We decided to stamp a couple of cards. The first one used the Happy Tails stamp set and the dog punch. It was even extra fun because I stamped with them!!

 The second card we used the Bird Ballad stamp set and made a Fancy Fold.

Not too bad for a 6 year old and a 8 year old. They love to stamp and it was a great thing to do this rainy day.
