Facebook Live Replay - Gather Together

 The featured stamp set this week for the Facebook Live is called Gather Together. This set also has coordinating dies called Gathered Leaves Dies. It has become one of my favorite sets and I was very glad that it was carried over from last year.

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• PAPER – Cajun Craze (119684), Basic Black (1121045), Whisper White (100730), Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) (153517), Black Glitter Paper (153518)

• INK – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708

• OTHER – Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690), Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder (153578), Iridescent Pearls (153549), Metallic Mesh Ribbon (153550), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Cajun Craze – 8 1/2” x 5-1/2” score at 4 1/4”

• Basic Black – 3 7/8” x 5 1/4"

• Whisper White – 4 x 5 1/4”, scrap

• Magic in This Night DSP – (3) 1 1/8” x 5 1/8”

• Black Glitter Paper - scrap

Instructions:

• Fold & burnish Cajun Craze cardstock along 4 1/4” score line.

• Adhere the 1 1/8” strips to the basic black cardstock using liquid glue.

• Using the Cobwebs Embossing Folder, emboss the black cardstock with the DSP strips.

• Wrap the embossed piece with the Metallic Mesh Ribbon and tie a square knot left of center.

• Adhere to the Cajun Craze card base using liquid glue.

• Using the Stitched So Sweetly dies, die cut a label from the whisper white scrap and a background label piece from the Black Glitter paper.

• Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp sentiment on the Whisper White label.

• Center and adhere to the Black Glitter label.

• Mount sentiment label to the card front using dimensionals.

• Add Iridescent Pearls to the card front.

• Using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, stamp the inside “Happy Halloween” sentiment and witches caldron image to the Whisper White cardstock. Adhere to the card inside using liquid glue.

September Technique Cards - Slimline Cards

 The technique for September was the technique, Slimline Cards.  Slimline cards are all the rage right now and quite popular. Start with a 7" x 9" piece of card stock, score at 3 1/2" for the fold line. Layers are 3 1/4" x 8 3/4". Try this fun new technique yourself and enjoy!

Sharing Jim's Birthday Cards

 Last week was my husband, Jim's birthday; it also just so happened that our grandchildren were over for the day. When I mentioned it was grandpa's birthday, say no more!  I had to busy children making a birthday card for grandpa. We even had to have a little surprise party. I would say it was all a success when you see the big smile on grandpa's face.

 

The first card is one that I made for Jim using the Nature's Beauty Stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Here is the next card, can you tell that a six year old made it. Me neither!!  Easton made this card using the Rustic Retreat Stamp set from Stampin' Up!

The last card was made by Andi, our grand daughter who is six. She used the Merry Moose stamp set from Stampin' Up!

And here is the birthday boy with his favorite little people. I would say that the kids did an excellent job making their cards, don't you?!
