Poinsettia Petals Step-by-Step
When creating projects, it’s important to consider the abilities of every customer—from beginner to avid crafters. By using similar products and the same layout, creating a card for every crafter to replicate is simple (and fun!).
CASUAL To begin creating, stamp the sprig images on the card front in Cinnamon Cider ink. Stamp the flower in Real Red ink and the leaves in Shaded Spruce ink on Whisper White Cardstock. Tip: To create depth, stamp off the Two-Step Stamping flower and leaf dimensional images. Die cut the stamped images and adhere them to the card front. Stamp the sentiment in Cinnamon Cider ink on a Whisper White Cardstock label, adhere the label to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals, and you have a fabulously festive card in just minutes!
AVID Step up the second card by adhering Designer Series Paper to the front. Brighten the poinsettia and leaves using Cinnamon Cider, Poppy Parade, Real Red, and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. We also added a sprig cut from Copper Foil Sheets using the Poinsettia Dies. Tip: Fold the ribbon in half lengthwise before cutting the notches on each end.
STEPPED UP AVID For our fanciest card, we adhered additional flowers and leaves, cut the label using the Tasteful Labels Dies, and added more Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper to the card front. We also took the artistry to an entirely new level by creating more light and dark contrast and expanding the color palette with Mint Macaron and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. ******************************************************************************** Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to look at my cards. Warm & Toasty Facebook Live Replay

 The featured stamp set this week is the Warm & Toasty stamp set from the August-December Stampin' Up! mini catalog.  I really liked this set when I first saw it but I tried so hard to talk myself out of it. I finally broke down and got it last week.  I look forward to making more cards with it.

Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – Harvest Hello (150581), Festive Post (153460)

• PAPER – Pumpkin Pie (105117), Whisper White (100730), Black Glitter Paper (153518), Plaid Tidings 6” X 6” Designer Series Paper (DSP) (153527)

• INK – Tuxedo Black Memento Pad (132708), Pumpkin Pie (147086)

• OTHER – Apple Builder Punch (150663), Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch (152709), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755). Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Pumpkin Pie 8-1/2” X 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”

• Pumpkin Pie 5-1/4” X 4”

• Plaid Tidings DSP 1-1/2” x 5-1/4”

• Black Glitter Paper 1-1/2” x 2-1/8”

Instructions:

• Stamp and punch out pumpkin image and stem from Harvest Hello stamp set, using Pumpkin Pie ink on Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  You will need 5-6 of each.

• Arrange punched images on 5-1/4” X 4” layer of Pumpkin Pie cardstock as shown.  Adhere punched images using Multipurpose glue.

• Flag the end of Plaid Tidings DSP as shown and adhere to 5-1/4” X 4” layer over pumpkins.

• On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, stamp October 31 sentiment from the Festive Post stamp set, using Pumpkin Pie ink.

• Stamp bats with Memento ink over sentiment and punch out with Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch.

• Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, adhere the sentiment as shown.

October Kit Cards

 Last week was our October Kit Class, I would like to share with you the lovely cards that we could make. After this class was revamped, we have found that we LOVE having our choice of making different cards. Depending on time and preference, you can now make your choice of 5 different cards for $7; 10 cards (2 each of 5 designs) for $12 or 15 cards (3 each of 5 designs) for $17.  This has proven to be a perfect fit! 

Here are the designs and project recipes that were available:

Let's Sparkle It Up A Little

 This past Friday, I had both of my grands over to my house to visit. Andi, who is nine years old wanted to make a card and do a Facebook Live. Here favorite phrase for Wink of Stella is to Sparkle It Up A Little!  I hope that you enjoy Pher card and her video, tell us what you think.
