 My Saturday Spotlight Stamper today is Debbie Vine.  You have seen her cards before and all know what an accomplished stamper that she is.  Debbie always has such great ideas, I always look forward to seeing what she has come up with.

Once you’ve decorated your boxes, make simple tags using Basic Black Cardstock, VersaMark, and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Stamp and heat emboss the cheery “Thank you” sentiment from the Massive Thanks Stamp Set on the tags, then punch them out using the 1‑1/2" (3.8 cm) Circle Punch. Finish your boxes by wrapping each one in fabulous 2020–2022 In Color Ribbon. Done! You have a gift that is a treat for the eyes as well as the heart.

Facebook Live Replay - Quite Curvy & Curvy Dies

 This weeks Facebook Live video was delayed and rescheduled for Tuesday night. So what happened?  I really don't know for sure, but we here in Central Wisconsin have been experiencing very foggy weather.  It has been cloudy every day and I think that had something to do with my cell phone freezing.  The worst part was that I could not shut the phone off, or even get out of camera mode.  I finally had to Google it and get the answer that way.  So fast forward to Tuesday night, and this is what we got. 

We are featuring the stamp set Quite Curvy, you can find it in the January-June Mini Catalog on page 23.  Here is a closeup of the card, don't you agree that it is great?!!

Cutting & Scoring:

• Coastal Cabana – 5 1/2” x 8 1/2" – score at 4 1/4"

• Night of Navy – 4” x 5 1/4”, 3” x 3”, scraps

• Granny Apple Green – 3 7/8” x 5 1/8”, scrap

• Whisper White – 2 7/8” x 2 7/8”, 4” x 5 1/4”, scraps

• Artistry Blooms DSP – 3 3/4" x 5", 3/8” x 4” strip

Instructions:

• Fold & burnish Coastal Cabana cardstock along 4 1/4” score line.

• Using the 2^nd largest scalloped square in the Layering Squares die set, die cut the 3” x 3” piece of Night of Navy.

• Emboss the Night of Navy scalloped square using the Old World Paper embossing folder.

• Cover the Granny Apple Green scrap with clear packaging tape and then die cut the word “Cocktails”.

• Using VersaMark, stamp the sentiments on Night of Navy scraps. Heat emboss using the white Stampin’ Emboss powder. Trim to size.

• Using the Memento Black ink, stamp the cocktail glass image on Whisper White scrap. Die cut with the corresponding die.

• Using Granny Apple Green ink, stamp the beverage/ice image to fill the glass.

• Using Bermuda Bay ink, stamp the drink umbrella.

• Using the Stampin’ Blends, color the lime wedge.

• Add Wink of Stella to the beverage/ice image.

• Layer the Night of Navy, Granny Apple Green and Artistry Blooms DSP together and then adhere onto the front of the card base using liquid glue.

• Adhere the embossed Night of Navy scalloped square to the Whisper White square, using liquid glue.

• Adhere the word “Cocktails” and the drink image to the Night of Navy scalloped square using liquid glue.

• Adhere the Night of Navy scalloped square layers to the card front using dimensionals.

• Adhere the heat embossed sentiments to the card front using liquid glue.

• Using Memento Black ink, stamp an inside sentiment on Whisper White. Add strip of DSP to the lower edge.

• Adhere this layer to the inside of the card base using liquid glue.

• Add Coastal Cabana colored rhinestones to the card front.

Embossing and Stamping with Andi

 Have to share with you a card that Andi made for her mom. Her mom needed a Sympathy card and it was a great way to stamp and play with different textures.  Even though Andi is an accomplished stamper, she is still learning different ways to make her card "pop" as she puts it.

I really liked how she used the embossing folder and the stamp to her best advantage. The embossing showcased her stamped image.
