Weekly Stampin' Up! Tip - CASEing Inspiration

 

 

CASEing Inspiration

Feel like crafting, but you’re not sure what to make or where to start? Sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration. We recommend spending a few minutes looking through the catalog and searching for projects that remind you why you adore papercrafting! Before you know it, you’ll be pulling out your stamps, ink, and paper, ready to CASE (Copy and Share Everything).

Copy the layout Copy the color scheme Copy the technique

As you may notice, our concept artist did just that with her samples. She CASEd the XOXO card then copied the layout, color combo, and technique to create her other three cards. See how easy? You may want to invite a friend over to CASE with you. Better yet, have a CASEing party! You never know what a big group of CASErs could come up with! And be sure to take pictures and post them in the Demonstrator Planning Place. We want to share in the fun!

Facebook Live Replay - Darling Donkeys

 This weeks featured stamp set is called Darling Donkeys, it is a FREE stamp set that you can earn from the Sale a Bration (SAB) brochure when you purchase $50 of Stampin' Up! Product from either the Annual Catalog or the January-June Mini Catalog.  Such a fun set, I know you are going to love it!!

Here is a closeup of the Fancy Fold card that is called a Side Fold; I made this card using the Darling Donkeys stamp set.

Wednesday Wow - A Touch of Ink

 Stampin’ Up! Supplies:

• STAMPS – A Touch of Ink (155233)

• PAPER – Whisper White (100730)

• DSP – Plaid Tidings (153527)

• INK – Memento Tuxedo Black (132708), Bumblebee (153116), Just Jade (153115)

• RIBBON – Just Jade In Color Ribbon 2020-2022 (153621)

• OTHER – Stampin’ Seal (152813), Clear Block I (118488), Simply Shammy (147042), Paper Trimmer (152392)

Cutting & Scoring:

• Whisper White 8 ½” x 5 ½” scored in half, 3” x 4”

• DSP – Plaid Tidings 4” x 5 ¼”

Instructions:

• Score and fold Whisper White cardstock.

• Stamp Flower and Hummingbird images on Whisper White card stock using Memento ink

• Stamp overlay image in Bumblebee ink on flowers and Just Jade (stamped off) on the hummingbird.

• Stamp Sentiment in Tuxedo Black.

• Adhere stamped card stock to DSP using Stampin Seal.

• Tie a bow using the Jude Jade ribbon around the 2 layers.

• Adhere the 2 layers to the Whisper White base using Stampin Seal.

January Class to Go Cards

 I have the January Class to Go Cards all ready for you, I hope that you will enjoy the cards and I thank you for participating.  This is a perfect time to partake in the Class to Go; you can work at your own leisure, great way to add to your card stash and its the thought that counts.  So lets see what I have for you.

Remember, I will post seven cards and you can pick one or all seven cards. The cards come to you as kits with all of the card bases, layers, white inside, embellishments, ribbon and even envelopes.  I then email you the card instructions that come complete with color photos. All you need to add is the stamps and ink; we all have the basic stamps like Happy Birthday, Thinking of You and More. 

If you are just getting started, this is a great way to dip your toes into the stamping world. Stampin' Up! has some beautiful Sentiment stamp sets, ask me and I can show you them.

January Stamp of the Month - Let's Vote!

 Each month, I pick three stamp sets that we vote which set we would like to see become the Stamp of the Month.  Then, while you are sending me a check for $24 to cover the cost of the stamp set and cards, I am designing four cards for you to make with your new stamp set.  What will you get?  The stamp set, four of each card bases, layers, white pieces for the inside, embellishments, envelopes and a pdf file of the directions with color photos.
