 Tuesday night was our monthly Kit Class, you may remember seeing these cards before but that was the choices, these are the actual cards.  They are the same cards just as they are the same cards for the Class to Go, but are worth showing again.  One thing is for sure, at either class; not only do you get to make great cards, but I always share handy tips to make your card making more enjoyable.

Facebook Live Replay - Pretty Perennials

 This weeks feature stamp set from Stampin' Up! is named Pretty Perennials.  It is just a lovely set and has matching dies to go with it.  This set will go fast, so if you haven't added it to your collection yet, I would be happy to be your demonstrator.

Isn't this pretty?!!  I made my own Designer Series Paper by just using the stamps in the set and different colors of ink.

• INK –Pretty Peacock Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad (150083), Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin’ Ink Pad (147104).

• OTHER – Stitched Shapes Dies (152323), 2-1/4 Circle Punch (143720), Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels (150457), ¼” Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon (152463), Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755), Stampin’ Dimensionals (104430), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653).

Cutting & Scoring:

• Gray Granite 9-1/2” x 7”. Score the long side at 2-3/8” and 6-5/8”. Score the short side at 1”.

• Cut off the two small bottom rectangles. Cut the middle remaining rectangle at an angle on both sides. Fold over the sides and adhere the left edge over the right. Fold up the bottom edge and adhere.

• Punch half a 2-1/4” circle in the center of the top edge.

• Whisper White 3-7/8” x 5-3/4”.

• Pretty Peacock 4’ x 5-7/8”.

• Fine Art Floral DSP (2) 1” x 4”, 4” x 5-3/4”. Punch half circle from the center top edge, adhere using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Instructions:

• Adhere 1” x 4” reverse side of Fine Art Floral DSP to front.

• Using the largest Stitched Shape Circle, die cut in Whisper White, adhere using liquid glue.

• Stamp two flowers in Pretty Peacock, stamping off first. Stamp the second layer of the flower full strength. Die cut both flowers.

• Stamp two stems using Pear Pizzazz, die cut.

• Adhere the flower to the die cut circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

• Add light blue Holiday Rhinestone Jewels.

Adhere the 3-7/8” x 5-3/4” Whisper White Cardstock to the 4” x 5-7/8” Pretty Peacock Cardstock.

• Adhere the 1” x 4” DSP ¾” from bottom edge of Whisper White.

• Layer the Flower using Liquid Glue.

• Stamp sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink.

• Adhere the Gray Granite ribbon using a Glue Dot.

• Enjoy!

Pretty Perennials Wreath

I was challenged to make a wreath using any stamp set of my choice, so I choose Pretty Perennials.  Next I used my square dies and cut a 2"x2" square template.  By turning the square template to a 45 degree angle, next I stamped four flowers in each corner.  The next step is to just fill in the wreath with other flowers, leaves and flower centers.  It was so easy and I love the results!

INK: Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz

PAPER: Highland Heather Base, Gorgeous Grape Layer, White, Balmy Blue scraps
