Sweet Little One Baby

Both of these cards were stamped with the Cause for Celebration stamp set from Stampin' Up, its a hostess set. And I have found so many uses for the stamps. It is such a versatile set, I just love it. I wanted to make some baby cards to have on hand.

One card was made with Pretty in Pink Cardstock, the other with Bashful Blue. I used the Cause for Celebration. Then it was time to get out my 1 3/8", 1 1/4", Slit and Scallop punches; 2 blue or 2 pink brads, blue and pink grossgrain ribbon finished the card.
Remember, Click on the Pictures and you can see them bigger.

I couldn't believe it!! I actually had a Saturday where I didn't have to do alot of things. So I treated myself and stamped pretty much all afternoon. I wanted to try out one of my stamp sets that I just got from the Sale-A-Bration promotion through Stampin' Up.

I used Kraft Cardstock for the base. Ran Summer Sun through my Cuttlebug for the next layer. Then used So Many Scallops, I embossed the scallop with Iridescent Ice and used a demension to make it stand out a bit. A Turquoise Grossgrain Ribbon was added. BUT there was something missing. I had to take a walk and think about this...I used the flower from Cause for Celebration and stamped a turquoise flower on the solid circles from the Cuttlebug die. That was what the card needed!

This Thank You card was made with Tempting Turquoise Cardstock, Designer Series paper, and the Spot On Wheel for the background. The flower was stamped in Cameo Coral. I added a turquoise brad for the center of the flower and mounted it on a demension.

My Second Sale-A-Bration Creation

Boy that was a challenge!! Sometimes no matter what you do, your computer is going to show YOU who the boss is. But I was finally able to upload the card that I wanted to show you.
The second card uses the Birthday Whimsy stamp set. I used Gable Green, Bashful Blue and Cameo Coral Cardstock, plus accented the birthday cake with Irredescent Ice Embossing Powder and four gold brads.

Sale-A-Bration Creations

I haven't added anything new for a couple of days, because we finally had two days with temps above freezing!! And to top it off, it was sunny! I was so happy to just walk around outside and soak up that sun. I usually don't mind winter, but this year we have had more snow that I care for and now I am ready for spring.

I just got my Sale-A-Bration stamps and had to sit down and made a couple of cards for my card box. The first card is called So Many Scallops. I used the Sweet One baby stamp and I also used the DS paper that is a Level One Hostess selection. I really wish that I could take digital photos rather than scan the cards because I think they would look better.

I have another card to show you but I am not able to upload right this minute. So I will post this one and try the next one.

If you are interested in any of these stamp sets, remember that until March 17, they are FREE when you place a $50 order from me for Stampin' Up products. Contact me and lets see what we can do!
