Flight of the Butterfly

Now what a fun card this was to make! I needed a birthday card (yea I know you already figured that one out) and I just love Stampin' Up! Rich Razzelberry color. Its one of the new 2009-2010 In-Colors and its a keeper in my book!
The stamp set is Flight of the Butterfly. The cardstock that I used was Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla. I used a Very Vanilla Grosgrain ribbon and 3 vanilla brads for accent. All items used in this card is all Stampin' Up! Its a really pretty card, and much prettier in person.
Hope you enjoyed the card, have a great day!

Great Friend

This card uses the Stampin' Up! stampset Great Friend. The colors are Bermuda Bay, Always Artichoke and Crushed Curry. I used the new in-color Soft Suede ribbon as an accent. I like how the colors all came together.
This was only one card of two that I managed to get finished today. You might think that she is really a slow stamper but the truth is that I also managed to get 2 loads of clothes done, canned 6 pints of string beans, made supper and went to town this morning for a few groceries. And I also typed up 22 recipes for a cookbook that my mom is planning to publish. I would have loved, loved a nap today, just the one that my husband took today, but it wasn't in the cards!
Thanks for stopping, have a great day!

Summertime Flowers

I always enjoy the flowers that come from my flower gardens. Some of them I have planted and I have been waiting patiently to grow and bloom. And some of them are accidents. I didn't plant them but a bird must have decided that we needed a flower like this sunflower. It really is quite pretty.

Here is a day lilly that I know I planted, how else would it that have
gotten there. But I don't remember ever having a day lilly that had stripped petals before. I thought it was really pretty, I just wish I would have remembered to take a picture of it sooner. It was alot brighter before.
I have been doing some stamping, some canning, some gardening and some baking; and thats besides working full time, taking care of a home and husband and two beagles! And trying to find some time to get some sleep in there also.
Its hard to believe its August and September is just around the corner. Where has the summer went. I have a card to share with you tomorrow and I think that your just going to love it!
