Second Just Believe Card

Here is the second Just Believe Sympathy card that I made. I think that this card would also do very well as a Birthday card. The colors are pretty bright but it looked like a nice pick me up card.

Just Believe Sympathy Cards

I needed a couple of new Sympathy cards AND I wanted to try a couple of tips that I received for taking better photos of my cards. Well I am happy to report that the tips paid off, my photos look better than I have ever taken before. I am very happy about that!!

Extras: Embossing Folder, Grosgrain Ribbon, Black Embossing

Its so cold here, and it doesn't sound like its going to get any better. We can look forward to a high of 15 degrees tomorrow. Brrr!! I usually don't mind the snow and cold but this year it came too soon and too fast! January is always a long month but I will stay busy stamping and scrapbooking!!

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

I just got done making this card, it uses the new Stampin' Up! stamp set Create a Cupcake from the Occasions Mini catolog that just came out!

The cardstock is Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and Pretty in Pink! The card also uses the new Cupcake Punch that just came out! It also uses the Tulip Embossing folder that I just love, it adds the perfect accest for this card. This was a fun card to make and will be added to my hoarde of cards for just the right moment.

I don't know, I can't seem to make my pictures big enough for them to look decent. Could be the age of my camera or I am just not doing something right.

Happy New Year; it wasn't an exciting day today for us, just did the laundry, made some homemade soup for our supper and I worked on our budget in the morning. All I can say is that I am glad that is done!


The card that I made to share today is a Baby Thank You. A friend of mine is going to be a first time grandma and she wanted some baby thank you's for her daughter. This is what I came up with.

I made the baby tee's in different colors; the base of the card is Stampin' Up! Retired Summer Sun; with Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White layers. The stamp is the Baby Tees wheel.
