August, 2014 - Glitter Napkin Technique

Have you seen the newest paper crafting technique out there?  Glitter Napkin technique?!  This is exactly what we did at our August Technique class.


Creating a fun and beautiful nothing more than cocktail napkins and glitter or iridescent ice embossing powder!
Use an adhesive sheet, adhere sheet to a piece of cardstock or cardboard then adhere napkin to other side, smooth, emboss and make a stunning card!  Let's get started!!



Card 1 – Rock Star!

Stamp Sets:  Be TheStar

Ink:  Night of Navy, Basic Grey, Versamark

Paper:  Cherry Cobbler 5 ½ x 8 ½, Night of Navy 4 x 5, Silver Glitter DS 4 x 4 1/8, Whisper White 3 ¼ x 3 ½ (Cut 2) and 2 ½ x 5;p 1 ply Cocktail Napkin (separate if more than 1 ply)

Accessories: Dimensions, Star Framelits, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Adhesive Paper Sheet 4 ¾ x 3 ¾




 
 

Card 2 – Glitter Napkin Thankful

Stamp Sets:  Good Greetings, From my Heart (Inside), Work of Art (Inside)

Ink:  Lost Lagoon, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Versamark

Paper:  Lost Lagoon 2 ½ x 2 ½, 4 ¼ x 11; Old Olive 4 x 5, DS Paper Cardboard 4 ¾ x 3, Whisper White 3 x 4

Accessories: Dimensions, White Taffeta Ribbon, Adhesive Paper Sheet 4 ¾  x 3, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, 1 ply Cocktail Napkin (separate if more than 1 ply)


 
 
Fancy Fold – Z Fold Birthday
Stamp Sets: Age Awareness
Ink:  Tangelo Twist, Early Espresso
Paper:  Tangelo Twist Base 4 ½ x 11, Whisper White Greeting 3 ¾ x 2 ½ , So Saffron Layer for Greeting 4 x 2 ¾ , Sweet Taffey DS Paper 2 ½ x 4, Whisper White for inside 4 x 5 ¼, 2 ½ x 4—notice orange heart.
Accessories:  Early Espresso Twine, Oval Framelits , Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Small heart punch

And there you have it!  Summer is almost over and it is time for me to start thinking about next month's technique!  Marble Technique!  Hopefully I won't loose my marbles and neither will you if you live close to the Neillsville, WI area and want to join us.  But you don't have to live close, these cards are all available as a kit or ready made, just send me an email if you are interested.
