April 2015 Technique - Inked Embossing Folder Background

Did you know that your Embossing Folders can do double duty?  That is just what we are going to do with this great technique, and it is so easy!  Which in my opinion makes it that much better!!

So here we go!

Apply ink to the positive side of your embossing folder, lay a piece of white cardstock in the folder, close and use your brayer to transfer the ink from the folder to the cardstock.

Here is our first card - Thinking of You

Use both pieces of the Mini Treat Bag Die to cut out your card, on the score lines fold and also apply sticky tape; assemble.  Stamp large banner piece with Work Hard Stay Humble stamp for the front.  Stamp Buy Your Own Present stamp in Mossy Meadow and then stamp the sun in Hello Honey.  Use the Tag Punch to cut the top out, remove the 2 little pieces on either side, which will be able to hold a gift card.  Tie the jumbo twine through the hanger hole to complete the card.  Card will fit inside our envelope.
