Our January Card Kit Class

Last week eight of us got together to make 15 beautiful cards with matching envelopes.  The class is working out pretty good in that we make 3 cards each of 5 different All Occasions Cards.

Here they are:
This lovely Hello Card featured the Hello Sale A Bration stamp set and the Confetti Textured Impressions  embossing folder.  We sponged Rose Red over the embossed images to create this pretty card.

I have to admit this pretty card ended up being my "problem child" card, the Hello You Thinlets die didn't work as well as it was supposed to.  It would have helped if I had remembered the Precision Plate and Big Shot Die Brush (a must have when you are working with these delicate dies)
I just loved this very pretty Friends card, we used the stamp set Garden in Bloom and randomly stamped it in Wisteria Wonder all over the card to create our background.
Our You've Got This card is so much prettier in real life and you have to ask yourself, how many times you have said, "You've Got This"!  The card features the stamp set Summer Silhouettes and You've Got This. The Island Indigo ink with Bermuda Bay for the flowers worked just great!

The last card was a Sympathy Card, Sharing in Your Sorrow.  The background was created stamping random flowers and butterflies from the Garden in Bloom stamp set, the sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers.  It creates such a stunning card when the Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Marina Mist and Watermelon Wonder ink were used.

That takes care of our January class, the February class will be Tuesday, February 23.  If you can join us, let me know.  All of my classes are offered as a kit, where can you make 15 cards (3 each of 5 designs) with envelopes all for $15.  If you are out of my area, there will be a postage fee.  Every card is cut out for you, embellishments, dimensions and any designer paper is included.  Per Stampin' Up! rules the cards are not stamped, but you can easily adapt whatever stamp that you have to make these great cards.

That's it for today!!  Happy Stamping!
Cindy
